  • Wow! I love your sense of humor. Passive aggresive, i get accused of that too, but I like your way better. Thanks for the educational video.

  • The only thing i truly consider a sin is to destroy knowledge

  • Love your video. Agree 100%

  • Watch TheAmazingAtheist's video where he burns the koran. It's pretty damn funny.

  • Books are paper, you use paper as kindling. The Bible and Quran are Symbols of ideals and beliefs. Burning these symbols just shows your disagreement.

  • I'm working towards my MFA in Literature, and I'm indifferent to burning books. I get what you're saying; you're stereotyping all the kids back in school who said, "Reading's for fags," but some books deserve to be burned. Even still, burning a book doesn't really do anything--especially since you probably already bought the book, and in that sense have already supported the author. I've had to read a lot of bullshit, and I just can't subscribe to the whole "All books are good" scene.

  • Having said that, burning the Twilight series isn't half as effective as burning its author. Someone's gotta cut that one at the source.

  • I play this video with the mute on then a proceed to masturbate while watching her.

  • Maybe you should type out your whole message instead of making a video of talking, then maybe we can read.

  • Burning books doesn't make you stupid. Being stupid makes you burn books. On another not, you are quite beautiful.

  • Actually they should read the Qu'ran in public instead of combusting it. Especially the more hostile, bigoted, anathematizing verses, or the ones that call the believers to kill or make subterfuge against the infidel. That way you wouldn't need to burn the Qu'ran, It'd burn itself.

  • Yay, a female that do not like twilight. There is hope. ;) Anyway, good argument.

  • Epic win :)

  • You see, Tina.. The are not much of the reasons to read the books. Take a fella like me, i.e. Folks are dumb where I come from and they ain't had any learning. Still they're happy as can be, doin' what comes naturally.

If you have a holy bible as your life guidance, who needs to read the other books? Folks like us could never fuss with schools n' books n' learnin'. Still we get from A to Z, doin' what comes naturally.

May the baby geezas help you to see the light from above.

  • "Dove World Outreach" surely a misnomer! The dove is a symbol of peace, used by pacifist movements the world over. Don't Christians acknowledge this symbolism any longer? World Outreach? Muslims make up 21% of the world population, Christians 33% so they're hardly reaching out to the entire world, are they? But I'm sure burning the Koran will give comfort and aid to the millions of fundies in both these religions and cause dismay among moderates of all persuasions, even antitheists like myself.

  • I've read the quran.... burn it.

  • @AtheistJuggernaut

"Where they burn books, they will ultimately also burn people." Heinrich heine, 1820

That quote is carved on a plaque at the site where the nazis burned 2500 books in 1933. Eight years later, they were burning people. When Heine invoked the memory of the Catholic Inquisition to fight censorship in his time, he probably thought that medieval barbarism was in the past.

  • @pirbird14

The quran is the epitome of barbarism. It has no place in the 21 century. I dont understand y so many people think is a good idea to keep this book of hate around. Why should we have to deal with the effects (global jihad) of this hate manual and why do u think it should continue to exist?

  • @AtheistJuggernaut

Your question is meaningless. I never said anything at all about preserving anything. I said something about the historical connection between burning books and burning people. Perhaps one day you will learn to read and then you can pick up a few history books and discover this connection for yourself.

  • @pirbird14

What r u talking about? Theres no correlation in what u said to the subject at hand. Burning the quran has nothing to do with nazis burning books. Nazis burned books that disagreed with the idea of fascism, germans be the superior race, ect. People like myself think that the world would be a much better place without the quran controling the minds of people and commanding them to "destroy the infidels." Stop acting like ur intelligent when ur obviously not. Get an education retard..

  • @AtheistJuggernaut

Historically, there has been a connection between burning books and burning people. The Christian church did it in ancient Rome, and the Catholic Church did it during the Inquisition. It's the theme of Ray Bradbury's "Farenheit 451", which is familiar to almost every high school student in America. Book burning is an attempt to stamp out ideas by destroying their physical representations rather than through rational debate.

  • @pirbird14

U didnt address anything i just said. U still stuck on ur point from ur first posting... Is that all u have to say? Do u honestly think a rational person can debate someone who is irrational? Debating a muslim is like debating a creationist, u cant tell them anything cuz they already know. Its in the holy book. As far as im concerned, if u support continued exist for the quran, u support barbarism. Now address that or STFU...

  • @AtheistJuggernaut

I refuse to address your comments about "continued exist for the quran", because they make no sense. My comment was a general condmenation of book burning, pointing out the historcal connection between burning books and burning people. You chose to interpret that as support for the Quran. I am not responsible for your misinterpretation of my argument. You could use some lessons in elementary logic. And history.

  • @pirbird14

What exactly do u not understand about my comments? U never acknowledge anything except ur own points. Thats fucking retarded. I refuted ur comments about the correlation between burning the quran and the book/people burning. There is no correlation... And u continue to regurgitate the same bullshit in every single one of ur comments. Please, if u have something new to say, say it. If not, spare urself the embarrassment and STFU... Good Day

  • @AtheistJuggernaut

I understand your comments completely. They do not refute my argument. My argument is based on historical fact. You have done nothing to dispute the verity of these facts, nor have you shown that the logic connecting them is faulty. No matter how many times you repeat it, your claim that there is no connection is mere contradiction and not an argument at all.

  • @pirbird14

Truth is, u dont understand shit. U always just fall back on ur first statement like it actually means something. Ur point maybe historical fact but, again, it has nothing to do with the topic at hand. I was talking about the quran being burned and its impact on society. U just keep spewing the same shit over and over again. U have no arguement. Thats my point. Do u understand now? With that said, i think ive wasted enough of my time talking to ur stupid ass. Good day.

  • well said

  • @TinaDupuy

    Are you a transexual?

You sound like a man xD

  • You are missing the point. They are not burning the book in order to avoid reading it or to stop people from reading it, they are burning it as a symbol of their hatred for islam, the same way that America haters burn the flag.

  • @wwickeddogg

That's NOT what Tina is talking about it.

Tina is talking about our understanding of civilization. Koran is a book. If we burn the books - we are much closer of being classified as the troglodytes than you think.

Burning the books is not a symbol of something, whatever.. It's a barbarism. Like the kind of those who burn the flags. Or, burn the witches. Or, refuse the science. Or, stone the infidels.

By burning the books - we become THEM. Very much like THEM.

  • @MrJurekGG Unlike Tina, I can understand the point that someone else is trying to make.

I understood what she was saying.

Tina happens to be incorrect and she missed the point of the book burning.

Burning a book has no meaning in and of itself and the fact that you think it does only exposes your own biases and preconceptions, but it has no relationship to anyone elses intent.

  • @wwickeddogg

Burning a book has no meaning~~

It had a lot of meaning for Adolf and for religious mob during inquisition. And, for every piece of immoral shit on earth since the beginning of writing the books.

And, it has a lot of meaning - today. For pastor-fuckup in Florida, and for a mob of the most primitive 'heroes' on YouTube.

Burn the book !!! Burn the book ! Let's show them our class. Our courageous stance. Our fearlessness.

Burn the book! …in the land of the brave !!!

    Bravo!

  • @MrJurekGG Are you a fundamentalist? I feel like I am banging my head against a wall trying to explain this to you.

I think instead of doing anymore explaining I will go in my garage and burn my entire library and gouge out my eyes since books have done nothing to teach you logic or reason and there is therefore no more reason to read.

  • @wwickeddogg

Don't forget to attach to your house a placate, saying: Books burning day! I hate Islam. Come and see my act of heroism.

From now on, I'm a hero fighting Islamists face to face. Let's show them who has the class in here.

Burn the books !! Burn the books !!! Look at me. Who else out there has the bigger balls than me?

Or, give your useless now books to some library, or to the paper recovering mill, or, simply - burn them in the quietness of your cozy house.

    Fundie?

  • @MrJurekGG no,no i"m burning my books for you because i am giving up all hope for mankind

  • @wwickeddogg

    Do it !

  • milf talking about important issues with humor! Great! Kind of like spricket24 ... but to be honest you didn't really get your point across...

  • I think The United States finally got The Muslim Terrorists where they want them, by burning their sacred book. Like the saying goes, "sticks and stones" expect 9/11 was a giant stick and giant stone.

I think you are are looking at it the "wrong way" by burning the Koran it will bring out the all rats from their holes.

Americans let 6 million Jews die because they were pacifists in The 30's and 40's.

America needs to get more proactive with radicals.

  • @LeathermanFan

America needs to get more proactive with radicals

And, the best way of doing it - is by burning the books! As the barbarians did, As Hitler and, the worst religious mob did - in the previous centuries.

More radical than bombing them to bloody pulp? More radical than turning one of their countries into one load of shit, rubbles and misery?

Now, some dumb religious loco leader decided to burn the books. The BOOKS, for crying out loud! In America ???

  • I think people forget that the "main war" with The Muslims and The West is with The Muslims and Israel and who owns Israel. No matter what, The Muslim People want Israel to be owned by Muslims. It is a war that is old as time and will continue to go on through history.

The West supports Israel and The Muslims know this.

  • lol @ "if you don't read, things can be scary".

Millions and millions of people read Adolph Hitler's Mein Kampf and look what it got the world to do.

Are you trying to say, "you don't want to piss off a billion Muslims around the world with burning The Koran, because that is a lot of Muslims to piss off"?

In the poorest of poor countries the only thing people read is The Koran because it keep them in a box mentally for a reason.

  • IF these guys read books, there would probably be fewer comparisons ot Nazis and the Inquisition.

IF they read books, these guys would know that the Nazis and Inquisition started burning books before they started burning people.

Not saying the people of Dove World are Nazis. Just saying maybe they shouldn't make those kinds of comparisons so easy.
