Animals have no 'rights'. They are here to clothe and feed us. Some animals need protection due to habitat loss or over harvesting, but other than that, animals are here to serve our needs. Minks are a menace. They disrupt and endanger other species in their habitat, and also are known to destory domestic produce such as hens/chickens. They even have farms to keep them locked up.

Anyhow, have u seen the vicious killings animals do to other animals. Nevermind visiting a mink farm, u should go on a safari trip, & watch how the [oh so innocent] lions rip in to the zebra, without any consideration for it's pain.

@Moogisland1 Humans are not inteligent, look at the state of the world???? As for the other animals killing their food to eat that is natures way. Most animals do not torture their prey, and the kill is usually very quick. Predators want to eat not fight with their kill. Survival of the fittest??? I didn't relize we needed to kill mink to survive. This is about selfishness, egos, greed, lack of compassion and nothing more. Upstate NY has cold winter, gee, no mink coat needed here.

Humans are 'mammals', its therefore just nature for us to do these things as that is part of our makeup. Anyway, Im sure there are lots of animals in the world that use killing of another mammal as a way to impress the opposite sex (rather than just for food), just like how a woman today might use fur coats/leather to look good and therefore impress the opposite sex. Its nature at work.

Again where did you come up with that idea???? Yea a raccoon kills a bunny to dress up for a mate LOL! I can see it now??? Anyway, once again, its not really up for arguing. There is 2 much hypocrisy for it 2 be creditable 2 be against it. Unless U don't eat meat, don't wear or sit on leather, don't play a piano, don't wear wool/cashmere, don't use animal tested products. Then you have no right to critise those that wear fur.

Fur is, has, and will continue to be worn. I support Janet for not feeling like she needs to be politically correct. Anyone who supports PETA or the H$U$ is a domestic terrorist supporting idiot. Do your homework, animals are here to feed and clothe us, period! Synthetic fur does more damage to the environment than using a properly managed and renewable resource such as wild caught fur. Has anyone ever seen what mother nature does to animals, e.g. starvation, disease such as distemper and mange?

I am sure janet is honored to do this campaign and why wouldn't she want to join so many legends? Janet is a great woman, she's talented and loves animals. She is not perfect and i will not allow ignorant people to curse her on this video you can take that somewhere else so don't bother with the rude comments because i'll delete them. You don't have to agree with janet's choice to advertise fur but she should be respected since this isn't illegal and i'm sure most of you are not vegans.

ok its sort wrong but its three reasons why its ok. 1. it keeps u warm in the winter. 2 it has style. 3. the animals that they get the fur from are gonna die anyway. i mean even if people dont hunt animals they gonna die and the just can skin the fur off clean and let the factory or company handle the rest.
