Whats funny is that i've noticed on these videos they don't really show the pocket riots that went on when rage was playing. Cars got tipped over, people trying to knock over the huge towers and burning shit in huge piles. I plead the 5th on taking any part of it. Oh and thanks mom.

I am 30 years old and a bass player. Flea was my initial inspiration to play the bass. But, Tim was another bassist that I appreciated. He had the same type of up-front, driving and funky bass lines. Both are great bassists, but Flea actually has some theoretical grounding in music. While he plays what sounds pleasing to the ear (as Tim does), Flea also has a musical approach that delves into theory (as much as the RHCP product allows him to, anyway). Flea is leagues ahead of Tim.

He's not off tempo. Singing live is nothing like recording. You forget to breathe so you have to rush the words. He still gets all the words he needs to say within a measure and therefore he's not off tempo.
