nah man, Act 3 Chapter 1, insane, unlim ammo, super reload, and no ammo pickups(gives points boost). I racked up 915,000 one time, but averaged between 650,000-900,000

@jongarcia92 I just tried that and got 679k with killing absolutely everything I could, the overall penalty is a 0.6 multiplier to your score. Super reload and infinite ammo are -25% each, and the no pickups is only +10%. My initial score was 453,000 multiplied by the insane multiplier (2.5) = 1,132,500 which then has the penalties for mutators applied (0.6) which is 1,132,500 x 0.6 = 679,500...

@0JoeButton0 i mean the most i got even on that part was 915K, i averaged between 650K-850K, got king of cog onyx medal within like multiple times, i can host it online, invite you, u join, and could record that since i got no high def recording device, my laptop webcam will suck

@jongarcia92 ...To get 900k after these penalties would put your initial score (before the insane multiplier is applied) at 600k, which is 150,000 more than what I got. (600,000 x 2.5 = 1,500,000) x 0.6 = 900,000. Are you able to make videos? I’d love to see how 900k is gotten on this part, I must be missing a real trick.

@0JoeButton0 well the time i racked up over 900K was when i got over 200kills on the part defending the gate and all, barely any damage taken, had a 10X multiplier in like 5mins or less, and just went on rampage mode for the rest of the thing,

@0JoeButton0 How many sets of maulers are you killing? I noticed in the video you let the first group go through the wall. If you kill all of the maulers and grinders at that part then another set comes. If I remember right about 7 sets come before you get the complete it for defending anvil gate.

its easier to go on act 2 chapter 7 on insane and yo get about 200k every 2mins just keep reseting the act when you hit the second cut scene

another easy onyx medal , just do beast mode on insane i did in like 9 minutes 1st try with a bunch of randoms on trenches so yea :)

i know best way to rank up mission where u have to defend the fort set mutators that add exp u know like freindly fire just defend that and let them keep breaching the fort like kill a few in each set and when u get to the final measure u know the exploding tank shoot it i got like 400,000 doing this mission i did it like 5 times and have gold

Does anyone know if you can get an onyx medal twice ? It resets after you get it like you can get it twice? Only asking cuz i dont want to waste my time if i cant?

my friend has 14 onyx medals in War Supporter. (Play 30 events). His game glitched so bad.

There is a much easier way than this to get an onyx achievement. In horde, get a friend and set up a base. Get one to get on the turret and shoot, while the other reloads it. If you click it heaps quick, you can get about 200 in. To get onyx you need to do this about 5-10 times depending on your ability to mash the Y button. That's an onyx medal in about 10-15 minutes, it works splitscreen too!

@0JoeButton0 Yeah and its more of an ACHIEVEMENT rather than swizzing it by emptying guns into the ground and pressin Y - where's the achievement in that? I have to ask do people really know what the feck an achievement is when I see that shit!? At least JoeButton is using skill on Insane too.

There is an easier way by far.

Act 2 Chapter 7

Pick Insane and as many mutators. There is no chance of dying. Shoot down all the barges and 2 reavers, and you will have a 10x multiplier and 160k score. It all takes 4 mins if that.

You have to wait for the the scoring at the end to come up, then press start, restart chapter. It doesn't work if you press restart checkpoint. Hope this helps.

@sgtraytango I got 8 mutators so far, they are pretty easy to get. I recommend you to play games against the AI and get 100 kills with each basic weapon, to get the Super Reload Mutator (active reload, and then just shoot, more damage, more ammo). This is pretty easy to get and very helpfull.
