Wow. It's actually kind of shocking to see this side of Leo, because he's usually the one who is very quiet spoken. Especially in interviews, he always gives thoughtful, serious answers. I think really intelligent people (figuratively) speak a different language. Even the simple concepts come out sounding complex - and unfortunately like "rubbish" to some. Look he seems like a nice guy BUT he just sounds lost and convoluted. Don't wanna pick on him but he took ages to say something (not very profound to start with) which you yourself took one sentence to sum up, it seemed like he was floundering! Why do american actors take themselves so seriously? Why couldn't he just tell a funny tale and have a good laugh like Helen Mirren and Cate Blanchett were doing?

@BigDeanoSyd I think his brain was going along faster than he could speak the words. Then he tries to backtrack and "fix" what he said and it gets even more confusing. I don't know, it happens to me a lot - maybe that's why I recognize it. It's harder to try and explain things verbally to people. I just confuse the hell out of them. I'm much better at putting words to paper. But I really don't know. This was innocent enough. I don't think he was trying to sound profound.
