Yeah but it's not supposed to. Videos and the media don't cause anorexia, otherwise everyone would have it. These girls are going to go that way anyway, and it's up to us to tell them the truth about it.

I just want to say again that I do not condone pro ana.I have suffered from Anorexia and Bulimia myself and they are not nice. This video was created with the intention to show others what anorexia is like, not to promote pro ana.

honestly if you want to be thin and STAY thin while actually living an enjoyable life, anorexia is not the way. If you stay anarexic forever its guaranteed you wont live as long and plus youre nowhere near as attractive as thin people who actually eat healthy, exercise, and take care of themselves. If you want to be miserable your whole life while freaking everyone out, then anorexia is just for you....anarexics usually gain their weight back anyway, so its a stupid weight loss technique.

I never felt this way. I always knew I was pretty. I jut thought I can be prettier. Eating vegetables and fruits and counting up the calories on the end of the day was jut like going to walk the dog And I still do it today. Keeping my shape, being careful with food for being really beautiful it worth the effort.

this was so true for me :( ana still pops up now n again but in varying forms to try and jeopordise my recovery, but i have found up till now, touch wood, various ways of ignoring ana, or blocking ana out, like playing on the playstation and purposefully having food at the same time. it is hard to try and do the complete opposite of what ana tells you, sometimes it feels impossible, but i just have to pick myself up again if i fall to ana, and keep fighting against the fucked up thoughts :)
