Daos5 is correct. All anthropological and archeological studies show that the Thracians were indeed dark. Whomever has a problem believing this should do some research. If you are interested just look at these Thracian burial paintings at the link I've posted below.

The mural were semi-colour generaly black.Man i live in this sity and i know many historians here on the excavations.Since before 1000 god and more the climate here was very cold (the black sea in the 9 century was freezing on the shores in winter) .And the tracians were authohonian populatian here so their atnropological shud be lighter becouse of the climate.Even modern bulgarian climate is tempared whit cold winters.How can they be "black".
