@GoalDigga27 ... the size pole you go for depends on how tall you are and what you plan to use the pole for. Girls under perhaps 5'5" should go for a 45mm pole while girls who are taller are best able to work with the 50 mm. The best brand IMO is x-pole! And while watching DVDs and youtube is great for people who already have a basic understanding of pole dance, it's best for begininers to start with live instructions to teach basic grips, safety and such... good luck!

I love this routine i hate it ended so soon! Whats a good size or brand of pole for a beginner? Are the dvds just as effective as taking a class?
