"ONLY" is right. Our old Tandy (which we got in '87) cost at least $2000. While it wasn't made specifically for playing games, the ones we had for it were far below C64 standards in graphics (CGA only) and audio (PC speaker only). Looking back, I'm honestly a bit jealous.
@MMDbZgT When new consoles launch, you have to pay a minimum 1000$ for a PC that can compete with them. So I don't know why do you whine about the price. Also it was a powerful machine back in the days. Did you ever had a PC for 10 years? I had - it was the C64.
@draconpost Come on. I agree MMDbZgT made a silly point, considering it was great value for your money at the time. However $595 is not the same as todays $1000. It was quite a lot of money back in the day.
