Absolutely beautiful. Evan is sweet and inspiring and more brilliant that the majority of us can understand. I find it amazing that he can play with such feeling to express the technical aspects of the music in his head. Kudos to his mom for providing the opportunity for him to nurture both his mind and his drive to succeed. All children should be so lucky.

you ROCK, Evan! ;-) He may not realize how he's perceived by us (you know what I mean), but who of us really do?? Rather than focus on the quirkiness, I'll just see that as part of what makes me smile about him, and add THAT to (his) music's ability to reveal his soul, sometimes as nothing else can. I hear him. I hear an innocent, caring little guy.. and the quirkiness just exemplifies an intelligence that transcends most of us.. we don't "get it". We CAN'T. So put yourself down, not him ;-)
