This young man is a little different but he also is a genius. Make fun of him if you have to but his IQ is at least 150 points higher than your average straight A student. He will be the CEO of a company of his own invention because he operates on a much different plane or universe than most of us. He has gifts that are given to a precious few. He may be the next Bill Gates, Steve Jobs or Albert Einstein.
FYI to the trolls: Evan's now a Harvard student. He won the $100,000 Intel Grand Prize in Science, and a math prize of $10,000. And he was right--she mispronounced "scombridae."
exactly man. They're just mad because they are useless losers who will be forced to spend their lives in obscruity while they work for Peanuts. Meanwhile, this kid will possibly go on the change the world and receive the wealth, fame, and glory that will accompany his accomplishments. Props to him!
@wittenberg5 I would rather not be a genius like this kid and be socially normal. Solely based off that fact that i will have many good looking girlfriends throughout my life and this kids gonna date some buffons or be gay
@brendino157 The only reason you can live a normal life and enjoy modern conveniences is because of people like this. You don't invent anything. You don't contribute to the knowledge of humanity. You just buy the products invented by others, you work in companies founded by others, you learn about things discovered by others. The world would be the same if you got hit by a train tommorrow.Cant say the same for people like this. You are dispensable. He is not. humble urself in the face of genius
@wittenberg5 Theres alot more to life then inventing things and being a leader of a company. I would never wanna be this kid clearly cause he's autistic or something so relax. And who are you to be saying this?? Bet you didnt know if i died tomorrow then your country would lose an active marine...what would happen if you died buddy? open your mind you conservative dickhead. Maybe youre just mad cause you have a beat chick too. pz
@brendino157 I am just saying you should quit making fun of people like this. Its great that you think the measure of a man is how many hot chicks he bangs, but i dont know how much clearer i can make this for you. Nerds are the pillars of modern society. Not everyone can be a nerd, i get that, but you could at least show a little appreciation. "This kid is gonna be gay and date buffons" are u serious. Im just saying, a nerd cured polio. Who designed your weapons and armor? Better recognize.
This guy is just awesome. Spelling bee champ? Math/science wiz? musical genius? Who cares if he's socially awkward. He obviously couldn't give less of a fuck.
Absolutely beautiful. Evan is sweet and inspiring and more brilliant that the majority of us can understand. I find it amazing that he can play with such feeling to express the technical aspects of the music in his head. Kudos to his mom for providing the opportunity for him to nurture both his mind and his drive to succeed. All children should be so lucky.
you ROCK, Evan! ;-) He may not realize how he's perceived by us (you know what I mean), but who of us really do?? Rather than focus on the quirkiness, I'll just see that as part of what makes me smile about him, and add THAT to (his) music's ability to reveal his soul, sometimes as nothing else can. I hear him. I hear an innocent, caring little guy.. and the quirkiness just exemplifies an intelligence that transcends most of us.. we don't "get it". We CAN'T. So put yourself down, not him ;-)
Instead of playing the piano, they should put him in some artistic-surreal show where they place him on the stage and make him flap his arms and wrists up and down while they have some kind of laser light show in the background. The music playing in the background can be a heavy metal remix of that queer song he said was his favorite song in the ABC interview.
