Sounds like the western music that was on those old western sitcoms&movies of years ago. I picture a covered wagon being pulled by a team of horses taking a young family to some new frontier in the old west&the western late afternoon sun setting down under the horizon.

This song goes great with a helicopter ride over snowcapped mountains to a glacier in Skagway, Alaska. Love this music. Time for a road trip!

The whole album is brilliant. Whether you call it jazz, orchestral or whatever, it is simply great music. The bonus tracks on the reissued album are also well worth hearing with beautiful harmonica from Toots Thielmans.

i heard this in CA when i was younger, me and my sisters and dad would go on long saturday errends and we'd always listen to this, it was our adventure theme song. Then we moved 2 Georgia. But Davis CA is west of there, and when i think of our good memories together, i can always Face West.
