You know the budget isn't balanced right? the biannual budget is coming up close to 200 million short, more than the 140 million "crisis" from last year that Walker used to push the budget repair bill. There were considerable tax increases that came from the local level responding to the drastic cuts Walker implemented.

I want to stress again, because I don't know if you just hadn't heard, or are willfully ignorant but the BUDGET IS NOT BALANCED.

Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker is taking the money from the mortgage settlement with the banks and instead of giving it to homeowners is redirecting the money toward the state deficit. Walker is going to use $26.5 million of the settlement money to balance his own deficit instead of helping the homeowners in Wisconsin.

Scott Walker you have said in the past that taking one time settlement money to fill state budget holes is unacceptable. I guess Walker it’s unacceptable unless you do it.

For starters, he claimed that repealing collective bargaining rights was central to saving the state's budget. So much so that they had to hold an overnight emergency budget session to ram that part through. Then when put on the stand in DC, he admitted that doing so doesn't actually save the state a dime.

Also, before you speak for the "majority", you might want to check his approval ratings.

He promised to use GAAP (generally accepted accounting principles) when balancing the state's budget. However, he did not. By not using GAAP, he was able to hide a $3 billion deficit. The budget is not balanced, as he says it is.
