Do you have a line locker? I got a 91 thats 305 and more or less stock apart from the same muffler as you. If you jumped into my car could you do the same sort of burnouts?
I have line locker kit sitting at home i bought of another car, thinking about putting it on the maro now.

@TheNorthernSoulKing Horn has a relay - it should be under driver dash close to the fuse box, check the horn fuse and that relay
