I was real sad when he passed. He had a great voice for it. I also heard that, politically, the city officials, at one point, thought to stop SF fiestas all together...That would not be good. I am glad they came to their sense, for now.

Que Zia Tradition. I would have to agree that this year was a bit lame and over the top. I miss hearing the old voice of zozo and the drums that just made it that more intense. And those fingers?????

The fingers were bad. The guy who did the voice of Zozobra died two years ago. He had been the voice for 43 years.

A bit lame this year.

The music was irritating. It was just over the top, kind of like burning man. They need to get back to simplicity, and tradition.
