Streets of Rage was the game back in the day! Even through side scrolling beat 'em ups aren't popular anymore like they were in the 90s, Sega should do a remake of Streets of Rage for a current console. btw, I'm not sure if it's in the comments since I don't feel like reading through them, but pressing up and jump while being thrown will let you land on your feet.
