  • I could tell right away... Check ur regulator which is the handle part... Replace a o-ring in their that could be broken or it needs a good greasing

  • no air leak.. its a co2 leak :P

  • cupseal

  • same thing happend with my icon x....take the handel off and tighten the coil....yea ur gun aint the bets but im not gonna hate on you...we need more people in paintball

  • Oring

  • Is the hose bro if u replaced the o rings on the hose and still leaks . Then is the hose . But also look for cracks on the threads ...

  • The aluminum hose o-ring has a leak

  • go to youer [pait ball shop

  • (try) to replace the hose. from were you put the co2 on

  • If you found the way to fix it please tell me i have exact same problem with my gun and it's the same gun also.

  • replace reg

  • fuck haters these are good guns jusy take the handle compleatly apart and check to see where ur problum is twist the handle

  • Spyders are prone to leaks and other difficulties just do your selfs a favor and don't get one ever.... ever

  • you put the vlocity to high, so it made the macro inside pop, you have to reconnect it, thats what happened with my ion

  • sounds like maybe you need Teflon tape on the threads of the lines try unscrewing the grip that the leaks coming from and remove the line and Teflon tape the threading then screw the lines back in and try airing it back up.

and to all the garbage talkers go back under the bridge called pbnation and be with your trolls

  • only ned to change de o ring an is done, will work

  • the problem is that your using a spyder and a Co2 tank

  • yea i have a solution, BUY A NEW GUN. and i dont mean an slg. and btw its probably a busted o-ring

  • had same prob went to paintball of charleston they fixed it if ou havint fixed it just get a proto

  • same thing happened to mine but paintball of charleston fixed it they replaced the parts in it that all i know

  • i think you have a leak...

  • The leak is probably a damaged valve body, or a damaged cup seal. Since you sold it, it doesn't really matter now but if anyone has that problem there ya go. Go to Spyder.tv for the product manual.

  • Also remember exactly how you pulled it out bc there is a biger hole on one side and a smaller on the other. Try videoing yourself taking it apart with ur camera invade you can't quite remember how it went together. Another tip is to lay the pieces Exactly how you took them out. It helps alot. Message me if it doesn't work I can suggest something else.

  • You should almost be able to see all the way through the bottom part of the gun. There's a little gold screw under the gun that was under the trigger, well unscrew that and use something to push out the last little piece in the bottom part of the gun. I'm not to good with tech names sorry. If you had the same prob as me then it might be the o-rings on that little piece you push out.

  • Ok I think I can help. Once you get the back parts out, there should be I think 3 Allen wrench screws on the bottom. Take those out and you will be able to pull the trigger frame off and then remove the part with the front handle.

  • Onder your barle there is something you need to do something down there

  • go to a pro shop

  • selling pb gear check it

  • ok bro i know what wrong i tak out the hose off and the front handle and then put your co2 tank into the female port where the front handle goes in if you don't hear a air leak then the handle o ring gone bad this happen to me before and make sure your lube it every time you play

  • its the top of the O ring on the co2 happened with me at my field it did that and the guy took it and it was the O ring on the tank

  • help air is leaking out air tank when i screw it in my ion xe

  • @StayFrostyyy ORINGS on the airtank

  • mmm my spider mr1 is leaking air from the screw above my trigger

  • r u sure its coming from the handle cause it might be the pressure release

  • i have the exact same problem with ym vl high voltage help any one :O and where do i get O rings !

  • i have the exact same problem with ym vl high voltage help any one :O

  • just send it to me if not wanted

  • if u dont want it just send it to me

  • if it is just leaking out of the power tube. then it could need some thread seeler. but if it is also leaking out of the barrel then it is your chamber. the spyder xtras are notorious for the chamber going bad. it might be time for a new gun. my suggestion is the spyder MR1.

  • upgrade time

  • duct tape

  • you may need to stick some teflon tape where you screw in the air line into the gun

  • i had the sam proplem on my spyder flash, 2 weeks ago i bought a spyder pilot....and gusse what happened.

  • ok here cheak were you put your co2 and there is a little hole on it but u have to look on the co2 thing were u put the co2 in

  • kingman spyder.....

  • i had that problem on my 08 slgbut send it in and ya

  • i have that same problem in my VL high voltage

  • it was the barrel

  • i have the same problem on my spyder mr1.....

  • Get rid of the gun and get a new g3 or something other then that thing

  • your prod would be...1.your using a spyder..and 2...your using a spyder!!!!...upgrade to like a dp or promaster or even a gti+rampage...but that would be my opionion

  • i know your problem its leaking air message me about this gun an ill kick your ass

  • The same thing happened to my brother's ion.

  • that same thing happens to my spyder avant and i already tried switching to a different tank and it does the same

  • i know what the problem is...

  • Teflon tape, son

  • did you change the cup seals

  • Check the regulator aka the "grip" as you called it. Take it apart and oil it, inspect for damage or wear anywhere. Make sure the plunger and spring are in good shape. If not, replace the steel braided hose with a new one. If all that fails, take it in to your local paintball shop, sorry i couldn't be too much help, I'd have to see it in person to findo out the issue.

  • sometimes ur problem isnt ur gun it can be ur co2 tank if store ur tank sideways or for long periods of time with air in it it can damage the gun

  • same thing happens to my spyder

  • if u still havent got it fixed then try the hose or it might be leaking out the barrel.

  • maybe you should replace the tank, cuz thats wat happen to mine.

  • hey see if u can tighten the front grip

tht is how i fixd my spyder pilot leak

  • im actually selling this gun and another on ebay right now, but thanks.

  • switch to air check the top of the reg oring and put a lil bit of dow 33 on it idk that mite help if anything u mite have to disassemble ur reg

  • thats not even a reg tho its just a gas through grip cheap guns dont have regs

  • All paintball guns have regs, either external (grip) or inline regulator (inside the gun). Without one of these, the gun wouldn't work. Get your facts straight.

  • ur wrong. cheap guns the grip is just a gas through grip. the only reg is in the asa. get ur facts straight.

  • The asa is not a regualtor dumbass. The real regulator is in the gun below the champer, if you even know what that is. The asa is just to open the tank valve... fucktard.

  • what the fuck are you talking about retard. the asa puts the pressure from 850 psi down to about 400 get ur facts straight idiot. and the regulator below the chamber is a lpr low pressure regulator only high end guns have that. idiot.

  • Are you sure about that? Because thats the regulators job, the asa is just to open the airway. You make no sense kid. Are you calling that gun high-end? That isn't a low-pressure reg you moron. Why don't you go watch more spongebob videos instead of acting like you know paintball guns.

  • no i didnt mean its a high end gun. obviously its not. only high end guns have a reg below the chamber. its an lpr. that gun wouldnt have one. that gun just has a spring and chim under the chamber. i used to have one a few years ago. so shut your mouth.

  • bull the bolt back and if that doesent work it it posible that u dont have much co2 on ur tank

  • pull the bolt back*

  • Ok thanks for all the help... im still trying to fix it.. but i just bought a Proto Matrix SLG, so ill have a video on that later

  • you might be over tightening it.

tighten it until it leaks then unscrew it until it stops then try to shoot it and see if it works.

  • just buy a better gun becuase buy he time you buy all the new parts to fix that gun you could buy a proto slg or a indian creek gun

  • what do you suggest then? i was thinking about getting a VIBE i just dont have money yet.

  • ok thanks ill try this... but in one of mikes rants he mentions the hard to find tools for taking apart spyders ... definetaly true

  • we have to know exactly where it's coming from. The "handle" is a regulator. If the air is coming from where the reg screws into the gun, check the O-ring on the top of the reg. If it's messed up, replace it, if not, oil it, or just teflon the threads. If the air's coming from where the volumizer screws into the gun do the same there.
