Greatest college football flyover...ever. Too bad it cost them their jobs. Let the taxpayer see up close what they paid for. In that stadium you had 100% appreciation of the military.
squat, you ignorant noob. "discipline and airmanship." no shit. It's pretty impressive to see a dude roll in and grab the low hanging fruit off the "moral highground tree." It's not like I can say you're wrong...you just sound like and effing duche. Sqdn ADO somewhere. I'd recommend you for DO or CC...email me if you need a rec...
@outlaw2388, these fine fellows are no blue angels. This flyover was incredibly dangerous--not to mention illegal. That said, it was a pretty sweet flyover. Just not worth a Q3.
@Shotgun15e He's not really, you can't do an equal Vee formation with an equal number of planes. If there were 5 planes it would have looked more normal.
Get a life...! I was there and it was really neat and the entire crowd thought it was awesome. I've seen the Blue Angels fly this low many times before and there was not any uproar about it.
Understand why you don’t see this every week. Flying jets requires discipline and airmanship. Discipline requires checking your ego and applying the rules. Airmanship requires using common sense to safely complete a mission. You saw an unacceptable demonstration of both here: well below a safe altitude, not in good formation, and 20 seconds late. It was loud (cool!), but not representative of the discipline and airmanship a winning Air Force demands. These traits keep us free! An AF vet.
The Navy recently grounded two flyers permanently for pulling the same low level pass. The flight lead should be grounded immediately and sited by the FAA so he won't be able to fly commercially upon separating from the AF. The word must go out to prevent this from happening again. Some people never learn. From one old retired military/commercial pilot.
These pilots do not deserve to be punished in anyway...They fight for our freedom and deserve to show off America's power..I guess 2 Navy pilots lost their wings to fly, for a game flyover recently and they too should not have been punished in anyway. We should support all of our military folks, if it was not for their effort to make us free, you would not be able to go and watch that football game..Freedom !!!!!!
Now THAT! is a FLYOVER! If I was flight squad commander, I would've had a nice loop in the play! Imagine right as they got to the far scoreboard, they pulled straight up to 20000' and looped back over the field!? THAT WOULD HAVE made it worth the trouble their prolly gonna get in, LMAO!!
That would make anyone proud to an american... give them their wings back!

Are those T-38's or F-5's? (We don't fly F-5's anymore,...do we?)
Was this a training squadron?
Nice flyby, but really bad call on the flight lead's part.
holmesFour 10 months ago
@holmesFour I believe they are T-38s. They are supersonic training planes.

Bein an MC vet, I was there and thought it was a bit low but who cares, they have saved my butt a time or 2. let it be

That was pretty low, surprised AETC T-38s would do that. Not a very tight formation, but a sweet flyover indeed.

@hoku51 lead pilot lost his wings for that stunt lol

@shotgun15e maybe because they don't have a navigator in the back to tell them any better?
