I add all that weight becouse i use the original springs of the arm.

I can balance the sled with only 4 disc,but then,the springs tension is too high.

I don´t speak english too correctly,i hope have explained.

You don't need that much weight discs on the Canon XL-2 setup. Instead, raise or lower the gymbal!!! That's why the V-20 lets you adjust the height of the GYMBAL. I use the XL-2 with only 4 (FOUR) discs on the bottom + battery + monitor.
