I have two cats, and they do the same thing. But they do it around their food to. I think its a way to mark that its theirs........ Maybe she would had eaten it later on??

she hates treats, absolutely all treats. The other cats run when they hear the treat container shake. She waddles slowly, just in case it is different this time. :-) Never give up!

You could just reuse the canned food, pour a little dissolved bouillon cube over it.  that's what I do for my husband.

I love cats! Its just my hubby does NOT! Turtle just has discriminating tastes. :) Our Murphy (terrier mix) turns his nose up at his treats all the time, but the minute I turn my back - he eats it! LOL Your cats are beautiful!
