That is some Sith Lord-level mind tricks. Craig has whoever he's speaking to so hypnotized that he can just slap them in the face with hypocrisy. He knows their numb. Ballsy too. Of course he's utterly inept but you gotta admit he stands and delivers this BS convincingly.
I disagree with TF here. Craig is not badmouthing a Christian philosopher, he's explaining the lack of philosophical vigor within the theologian community. Now that may seem like a tangential disagreement but in fact it's primary to TF's main criticism of which I disagree with. Craig has not violated the standard. He mentions those name specifically as example of philosophers who have refuted Kant. Lüdemann mentions names as a basis of his argument.
If you truly believe the premise of this video and think it can hold up under rigorous logic come to "Atheism is a Belief" on Facebook.
A page run by myself ( an agnostic), mostly atheists and some theists as well all sharing a mutual disdain for the "logic" in videos like this or ThunderTARD. We are against the proliferation of ignorance regardless of whether the source is atheist or theist.
WLC is more of a performer than a thinker. And he KNOWS there are audiences hungry for the kid of crap he is willing to serve from the pulpit with such eloquence.
The funny part is, the guy that DMCA's him wasn't William Lane Craig, but someone who has WLC videos on his channel. I wonder if he got permission to use those..
Over 60 mirrors so far and growing, these fucking Christianic Creationist Cult savages are totally incapable of learning what the consequences of their attempts to stop the truth always results in, they're fucking crooks and liars and cult morons who appear to be utterly incapable of learning anything. :)
When will they realize that trying to silence logic and cover up their idiocy will only multiply their humiliation? This video could have been a one-off shot at WLC, and pretty soon forgotten. Now, it will go down as a memorable and spectacular failure for him.
I'm sure someone as honest as Lame Craig would not "bear false witness" against Thunderfoot. It must have been Epic Games that filed the DMCA for having their sound clips associated with owning someone so lame. UT clips are reserved for owning bad asses.
Hume doesn't demolish Christian arguments?! Guys, all go read Hume's Dialogues Concerning Natural Religion. As for 'of miracles', there is an error in his summation, but not one 'refuted' by Paley etc. convincingly at all. It still stands that probability wise people are more likely to have been mistaken than have witnessed the laws of nature being circumvented, and if they have, it simply means our understanding of nature is wrong in some way, not a miracle. Hume's argument overall is sound.
I do have to wonder at the logic drcraigvideos shows. By DMCA'ing the original video, and failing to DMCA the mirrors of that video, isnt it as much as admitting that it was a false DMCA?
"If you strike me down, I shall become more powerful than you could possibly imagine"
@VyckRo I just spent an annoying amount of time reading about fair use law. Your percentages mean nothing at all, You don't have to cite your source at all. Please get your facts straight. For a quicker version of this, please watch any episode of the Daily Show with John Stewart.
@VyckRo That's a pretty good video on fair use. I sort of assume you see that TF's video was pretty clearly fair use? Id Software and whoever owns Unreal Tournament have a better DMCA claim than drcraigvideos has, even if drcraigvideos is actually legally speaking for WLC. Furthermore, since WLC was probably being paid to speak, or debating in open forum, it doesn't stand to reason that even WLC himself holds copyright claims on these videos.
@VyckRo That's simply not true. if you hire a wedding photographer, they don't hold the copyright for their work. None of the actors, cast, crew or production staff hold the copyright for a movie. I think I have to say at this point, you be trollin. And to think I was flagging as not spam your comments that had been flagged as spam. well, enough of that.
@VyckRo LOL, that video debunks your position ENTIRELY. It clearly says for example, and it doesn't take longer than a few minutes to reach that point:
not crediting doesn't automatically disqualify you from fair use
same as crediting doesn't automatically make it fair use
You clearly didn't watch even the first 8 minutes.
@VyckRo2:25 "The third factor in the fair use analysis, looks at the amount you used from the original, not strictly the number of seconds OR ON A PERCENTAGE BASIS, the REAL QUESTION is whether the amount you used is reasonable in relation to the purpose for which you used it" later 2:45 "there are some purposes for which you need a FAIRLY LARGE AMOUNT" so again this 15-30% thing really isn't backed up by anything. It's just a number you pulled out of your stomach.
@VyckRo3:27 "So to answer any fair use question you have to look at ALL FOUR of these factors" ... "THERE IS NOT A SINGLE ONE THAT CONTROLS, transformation is the most important, but they all have to be weighed together".
@VyckRo4:22 "I'm here to talk about some common MYTHS regarding fair use, one of the common beliefs about fair use is that if you are making money or attempting to make money by using something then that is not a fair use" ... "while whether something is commercial or non-commercial is one of the factors that goes into deciding whether a use is fair or not, IT IS NOT A DETERMINATIVE FACTOR so you can be doing something to make money off AD REVENUE or otherwise that can be a fair use".
@VyckRo8:05 "Parodies receive relatively strong protection under fair use. One of the reasons is because a parody is fundamentally a criticism of the original" ... "a parody is something that holds the ORIGINAL UP TO RIDICULE, you have to be saying something about the original, presumably something negative or at least critical" ... "remember a parody doesn't have to be funny, it doesn't have to be successful".
@ozmoroid We're talking about the same person who can't make the distinction between atheism and communism and who thinks ultra right-wing atheists are simply "deluded" because somehow they must ALL be commies and lefties. :))
(Ignoring the fact that Jesus was kind of a leftie himself and despised the job crea... I mean the rich people.)
@VyckRo And finally: 5:20 "Another common MYTH blah blah blah that giving credit is necessary to insulate you from liability, the law DOESN'T REQUIRE that you give credit blah blah blah but it is often ADVISED."
That's it, it's ADVISED. And Thunderf00t did give credit to "William Lane Craig", his name is all over the video. RF is just a site he operates.
@VyckRo Yeah, you're actually just being an asshat now. The video specifically said that making money from something doesnt exclude it from fair use. You wanna argue, you can take it up with the lawyers from the video YOU recommended to us.
No it say that the law does not expressly specify that, but for a judge matter if you diminish me my market to make your own money, on a work done by me, and you do not even give me credit
@MoonwalkerWorshiper I was thinking about making fun of you, but youve actually got something there. unless youve been following it, you have no idea how dysfunctional the atheist/rationalist community on youtube is.
@htomerif Yes I have a pretty good idea at this point. But I am impressed that you refrained from, as would be the stereotypical atheist behavior, try to ridicule someone who just do not happen to like everything he reads. What would be the point?
When I saw this in the list of new vids I said YES! Maybe it got a version 2 with some updates.
When I read that it was DMCA'd I was even more excited because I know exactly what's gonna happen now and it will be ever so much more exciting than any update to a sorry ass rendition of this assmonkey trying to school other humans on how to live.
What is important to realise, is that John Leonard is not WLC, or a representative of Reasonable Faith; he is a lone individual who lies, knowing that what he is doing is wrong.
If he ever thought he was in the right, he would have proceeded with the legal route after a counter-claim. But as he knows; that work falls under fair use, and that even if it didn't, John isn't the copyright holder for the work he was given permission to upload.

@sonofdog1 The DMCA was filed by the drcraigvideos channel. So not Epic Games, basically.
Also, if UT clips are reserved for owning bad asses, well then Craig is just plain bad and he is an ass, so I guess that qualifies him after all.

"as admitting that it was a false DMCA?"
is not, It's a big juridical dilemma if. Why T.fool did is "fair use".
T.Fool made a video that uses 90% from a material that does not belong to him, and this without quoting the original source.
"Fair use".is a right granted under certain strict conditions
1.The material copied must represent between 15-30% from your creation.
2.Always you have to cite your source.
