@COWZROCK1112345 In this video I had been playing for 1 year and 10 months. I have now been playing for 2 years and 3months. From what I can remember It took me about one day to learn this song and record this cover. Some of it was experience of understanding how Jake composes his riffs & solos but Ear Training is a technique itself and just like any other technique your ear needs to be developed. If you want me to go more in depth send me a message and I'd be happy to offer you my advice.

@TheHollywoodHeart Thanks! And it depends on the song and whether I have to practice it or not. Songs like Ritual and Die For You I dont have to practice that much and dont have as many notes. Youth & Whisky and New Religion actually requires me to practice them for awhile. It can range anywhere from 2hours to 12hours.

@superartist1 Yeah I learn them all by ear. I cant really explain how to get started sounding things out. Try whistling a few notes and then try to play them on guitar. As soon as your more familiar with it you can try sounding out a song. You can also use programs to slow songs down but I suggest trying to sound out at 100% speed unless theres a really fast run.
