Stick with it and rebuild it, a ford V8 flathead is fun and the right one if you are goin' custom. An overhead engine on that car is totally gay

listed as 53-merc engine for sale - drop this
53 flattie in upgrade brakes - and suspension
and a little paint - sweeeeet ride -!!

I know why last firing - probally going the
inbreeder route -and removing the flattie-
and replacing with a fag-motor 302 -350 etc.
keep it old school -build the flattie - you
will have a great runner then -- plenty of
new parts for that flattie --read your
hemmings motor news - eggie- engine parts
has a rotating assembly -NEW for this engine
build it like a merc- engine and enjoy-!

No I got a 500 cubic inch Caddilac motor thats going in it. I'll run my 42 flathead on on open engined model A but don't see any point if it's going to be hidden by a hood.

as at the end of the vid you see the fan stiop most likey frozen engine but sounds wierd when it frozen so could have been anything
