  • Dear Brother Oo786oO, Masha'Allah beautiful work from you. Jazak'Allah khair. But, there is a mistake in the english language version being shown on the screen while the Arabic Version is being recited (Shaf'i). ...... wa qini sharra ma qadayt, innaka taqdi wa la ....

there is a 'fi' before innaka taqdi wa la yuqda ....

May Allah guide us all to the Right Path.

  • @raza9292

JazaakAllahu Khair shaykhi for pointing that out! Du'as requested.

  • @raza9292

I'Ve just added the "fa" (not fi, fi means in). Without the fa, i don't think there would be a change in the meaning. If you type in google: Thumma, Wa, and Fa and click on the website by ilmfruits, it gives an explanation of what these words can be used for :). Take care. Du;as

  • When do we read Duaa e qunoot (shafi)...Any time when your praying?

  • @sasukeloads you read in the last rakah of witr or whenever you want outside of prayer

  • @sasukeloads

The best thing to do is ask a shafi'i scholar or refer to a shafi'i text book. Theres a big difference between the hanafi and shafi'i opinion I think. If you can't find an answer message me iA.

  • @sasukeloads my brother im a shafiee's mazhab. qunut is sunnat ab'adh(mustahab/important) only in fajr prayers 2nd raka'ah after bowing. imam malik( shafiee teacher), does not have qunut in fajr(subuh) prayers.

  • This dua is in the book called fortress of the muslim but it seems shorter...why is that? where can I see the arabic text for this one?

  • Hmmm.. try google. Or keep lisning to this, it may help you memorize. Or while you are listenin to this, write up a roman script of the du'a so you can learn it.

  • Where can I find dua Qunoot in the Quran?

  • Dua-e-Qunoot is not in the Quraan (as far as I am aware). From my knowledge, Dua-e-Qunoot (especially the longer Shafi'i version) was recited by Rasool Allah SWAS at the battle of Uhud when many were Shahid.

  • Thank you. Alumdillah Bismillah

  • Alhamdulillah :) keep up seeking the knoweldge brother/sister.

May ALlah bring us closer to islam ameen.

  • Jazaak ALlah khair
