Please tell me you didn't put a B303 cam in a stock 302. sniperv25 is right...cam should be one of the last things.You should have the heads ported to help with the flow...otherwise the extra flow doesn't do you much good...and you'd need to upgrade your valve springs to keep from getting "coil binding".

Then...You can start calling it an "Engine"...not a "motor". A motor is electric...and your Mustang doesn't sound like its electric. (for example...A starter motor)

A cam can sound as mean as fuck at idle but it won't do you much good if it's not properly matched to your setup. Usually its the last thing you put in an engine. Thats why just a cam upgrade alone won't net you as much power as other things like heads and intake.

You cant hear headers, the rhythm or pattern that the car makes when idling is from the cam but the actual sound or tone is from the mufflers

well technically, the headers do make it sound like this along with the cam, because headers change the tone of the exhaust depending on which kind you have ;) but the actual lope of the exhaust is from the camshaft... oh this is @lilashton

Nice sounding 5.0. I have a cammed 350 in my Monte Carlo that sounds something like this, are those 1 chamber flows loud? Im thinking about getting a new exhaust and my 40's aren't loud enough....

Yeah, I have the 1 chambers on my stock 5.0 and they sound pretty good. My friend has a 72 nova with a 350 and 40s and its fairly loud and sounds pretty good, its bone stock though

this sounds dumb...but i have a 91 mark vii with 130k miles. i want a mean aggressive idle, thinking about camming my car with the b303. i have headers into exhaust, underdrive pulleys and cold air intake. this sounds noobish but just wondering, what exactly would I need to get a cam like this installed? like what parts would i need and everything and would i need a new intake?

well you would need the cam to start all new gaskits for the upper and lower intake and water pump and front of the oil pan...you would not need a new intake, just google 5.0 cam install and it should walk you through everything if you wanted to swap it yourself (but i dont recommend this since it was kinda hard for me and ive been working on motors for 8 year) but im only 19 also.
