The invasion of Iraq was both legal, and agreed to by Saddam himself. You see way back in ancient history March 1991 to be precise, Saddam signed a CEASEFIRE Agreement ending the Gulf War.The major stipulation of that document was that if Saddam did not open his country up to indefinite inspections on demand by the UN and US, the CEASEFIRE would be over and hostilities resumed. Saddam broke this agreement dozens of times and so hostilities resumed.
