And what does god have to do with this? Fucking primitive life viewing bitches. No comet, solar flare or magic man is gonna fry us. We will fry ourselves. If its not global warming, were going to butcher each other with our guns and atomic weapons. Everybody has a fucking theory now.
the diagram would suggest that either the earth is 80million miles closer to that sun than it is now...or that the sun for some retarded reason is like 400 times its normal size...in which case everyone would be dead anyway, so bravo Knowing for using the dumbest catastrophe ever...and bravo to all the dumb people that think that this is a possible scenario. Yes solar flares are powerful but at 93million miles, one would never destroy the earth like this.
So sick of these "crazies" saying the earth will be destroyed here in a few months. All I wanted to see is a solar flare, and I cannot stand when some idiot is spewing mindless babble about our doom. I did like this vid even though it was an animation.
Do you understand how far the earth is from the sun? A solar flare can't just reach out and smack us. It's radiation could harm us but that's about it
First destructive solar flare was recorded in 1859. Telegraph poles were on fire and telegraph network were down. After careful study, next event was already foreseen with 90% life wipe out but Scientist coded the actual date in Religious way to prevent people from panicking (late 19th century). Micheal the Archangel was the key where he defeated Satan and save the Earth from burning in Hell. 2012 - 1859 = 153.
Search 153 that relates "Micheal the Archangel" in Google. You'll be surprised.
In reality. even the largest solar flare ever recorded wouldn't be able to destroy all life on Earth. It wouldn't even cause any sort of major extinctions.
Aieeeeeiiiieeee what a scary video! I must get myself a giant generator....can't live without my internet! Better pack in the tanning lotions and get some melanin in or die of skin cancer. Only the black races will survive....
@SaltonSeaCoolio yeah, and i m going to heaven and you are not. accept Jesus as your savior. just kidding. not even him can or will save you cuze he die 2000 yearsago. lol.
@pettyofficer30 oh yeah. its happened in the past (quite recently too) 1859 / 1921 respectively. no atms, cell phones, direct deposit back then.. if the same type of cme (coronal masss ejection) were to happen today.. satelites, all electronic circuitry, water pumping stations, food production, medical services (as we know them today will cease to exist) and i don't think that we will ever be able to recover 100%.
@SpirituallyTuned No. The particles would interact with the magnetic field. Large solar flares are quite common, and the Earth is well protected. At worst, you'd be looking at major electrical issues, and increased electrical storm activity.
You'd think that it would all happen in an instant. Not just a tidal wave of fire and extreme heat. But I guess they figured it would add more dramatic effect if it swarmed over the entire glode.
that will happen in a million years, and fuck that im gonna die in about 70 years so actually i'm not scared at all, and im sure that they will find a new planet ;)
@rokareltje4 Actually around 4 billion years or something like that. It won't be a fucking "solar flare" neither, the sun will just turn into a Red Giant and overheat the planet.
@Clay3613 Not entirely true. As the sun gives off the solar wind, it loses mass into space. Thus, the strength of it's gravitational pull is weakened, resulting in the planets moving outwards from the sun, likely leaving the Earth in a much more distant orbit. There's a chance - albeit a slim one - that the Earth could survive the initial red-giant transition (when He is first fused). But the potential second and third (Li and Be fusion) would then likely do the trick.
The sun has 2 billion years left, as does the galaxy (collision with nearby confirmed), but from my POV I think humans will either be dead or moved onto another planet by then. *Hopefully*
@rokareltje4 dude it could happen right now solar flares is just something that happenes, there are millions of flares going off ont he sun right now there jsut really tiney... the big ones could be starting three seconds from now or three million years for now who knows....not us.
yeah i totally agree with you, good thing is that it won't really happen... and yeah if it does happen we are all dead, but i don't see why it would suddenly burn the earth, i would rather think it is an consequense of global warming
@halo3freak4ever NYU Sting Physicist Michio Kaku strongly disagrees with your assertion. He says that a solar fllare the size of the one we received in 1856 would devestate the worlds communication systems........no computers......no phones......no planes in the air......and he didnt say it would be fixed in days or months....he said possibly years of living like it was 1856......dont believe me..........put ....Michio Kaku solar flares NASA ......into your Youtube search engine and watch
I am hearing from credible scientists from NASA that some of the biggest solar flares ever will be occurring in 2011 and we have virtually no protection.
Sol is not yet capable of a solar flare of this magnitude, and won't be for a long time. The worst that could happen is maybe a bit of a sun burn. Oh well.
I beg to differ.....or I should say NASA scientists differ.......Michio Kaku a solar flare like the one that hit the earth in 1858 would destroy our current communication for years to come....computers and phones would not work...they say it isnt if it will happen.....but when it will happen
we observed megaflares(millions of times bigger than our biggest solar flare)in other stars similar OR SMALLER to our sun...but we have no proofs of a similar event in our system..but we have to say that these stars are young or they have a hot jupiter in a close orbit that influences stellar magnetic field
Well, if that was the case then wouldn't it still pretty much destroy the o-zone layer and evaporate most of the oceans? I'm not sure I'd want to survive that. XD
if you live close to a piramid you and your family go hide inside i'm going to do that in that date i'm living 5 minuts far to the piramid in cholula puebla mexico. only in case i do not belive this but ....
O_O. Im not sure the solar flare will be the big? Because if global warming icnreases, the glaciers could possibly melt and cause twice as much C2 to come into earth's atmouphere strenghing its Electromagnetic field. But fi the solar flare is this big, then were toast, LITERARILY.
if earth rotate around the sun then its possible that 50-50 that the earth will only turn red but its hot so to be sure cave man was save from this solar heat wave at that time so maybe thats why pyramid was built for protection and a woman future teller said the earth turn to red?
And what does god have to do with this? Fucking primitive life viewing bitches. No comet, solar flare or magic man is gonna fry us. We will fry ourselves. If its not global warming, were going to butcher each other with our guns and atomic weapons. Everybody has a fucking theory now.
