  • I Guess you could say

    (Puts On Shades)

The cat's out of the bag

  • P.s if the mom doesn't brake the sack right away, should I interfere and help and when should I?

  • We had a brake in about a month ago (fortunately the alarm scared the roober away but he wasn't kind enough to shut the back door)

My cat got out while she was in her first heat.

She's now pregnant and is due any day now. This is the first time a cat I own has gotten pregnant and wasn't real sure how the process of the delivery would go down. Thanks for putting up the video as I know how a momma delivers her babies!

  • life is amazing

  • Aww so cute! was worried for a min when kit, was still in the sack after being born!! put luckally kitten and you helped break the sack!

  • Beautiful!!

  • I don't think this is graphic. It's life and it's beautiful.

  • You go momma cat! c:

  • HI, i really need your help here as you have an experience with it. My cat is pregnant and expecting to give birth in about 2-3 weeks, this is my first experience, how should i prepare myself and her before giving birth and after? should i feed her differently? should i get her any special place at the time of birth, and what do i do when the kittens are born? i would really appreciate your response, coz i don't have money to go to veterinarian for a consultation...thanx

  • hey when the cat was birn how come there was blood

  • Birth is beautiful.

  • 1:46

    1. Giving Birth

    2. Feeding kittens

    3. Cleaning kittens

    Now that's Multitasking

  • That cat is strong!

  • the cat doesnt seem to be in pain...

  • amazing

  • A female orange tabby, those are rare.

  • i almost thought she lost it because it wasn't moving! D:

  • why was she like making that like sound towards the end.?.

  • i remember when my cat had babies, she was struggling really bad to open the little bag they come out with the kitten couldnnt breath, my mom had to cut the bag for her, after the kittens fell asleep my cat licked my moms hand as in saying "thank you."

  • Aww :') that is so sweet and mother and kittens are all beautiful. I had my baby girl neutered as soon as I could as she was an kitten from an unwanted litter and if I didn't have her she would have been taken to the pound the next day. People say it's cruel to spay (rubbish!) them without them having a litter but I don't want to let her have kittens that will be unwanted like she was (til I saw her :D)

  • O.M.G !! (O_o)

  • My Manx cat got out one day and her stomach got really big and she was sweeter than she used to be and sure enough she was preggers and she gave birth on April 8 of 2010 and a birth of three kittens.. 2 female 1 male. One with a long tail almost died bcuz momma forgot about him, but he did survive and was the runtt. One had no tail, one had half, and one had full tail. Haha

  • Aww cute video! I want kittens but my cat maxi is a boyy. I don't think he has game lol

  • why do we watch these thingss

  • i want my cat to give birth, she is a one year old and female. I let her outside every day and sometimes at night, what age and what time do they give birth/get pregnant? please answer!!!! :)

  • @Ident999 Please reconsider. There are so many kittens available for adoption at shelters everywhere. You can adopt for less money than the medical care and first shots each kitten needs. If you just want to witness the miracle of birth, I suggest telling your local shelter that you'd be willing to foster a pregnant cat when they get one. Please don't add to the overpopulation of cats in our communities.

  • @piecolorado I wantd my cat to give birth so i could make some money but if cats are overpopulated i will reconsider, thanks for the reply.

  • @piecolorado

Amen to that. Keep your cat inside if you can't afford to spay/neuter. It's really better all around if you spay your pet. Millions of animals die needlessly because they are being bred without thought for what happens to them.

  • @piecolorado Life and nature does not bend to the will of humans! If nature want to expand, it will and there is nothing we can do to stop it. We created this situation so we have to live with it! We wanted pets in our homes and now we do so it's our fault. Who are we to deny life? Speaking of overpopulation....What the hell are we doing then as humans? We are overpopulatin as hell!

    xx

  • @Ident999 well cats get pregenant mostly at the month of 7 or 8 and she gives birth on her 10th or 11th or sometimes 12th month if it is her first litter

  • @Ident999 please do not do that!!!!!!!!!!! lots of people do that and then they just give away the kittys who turn out to be either abandon cats or just ,,,,etc etc

  • This is adorable! Love cats :)

  • How precious,,,the miracle of birth!

  • haha itsa trip how there all gfoomin eachother

  • My cat had kittens 3 days ago every thing is going great

  • Looks like prolapse.

  • I like baby kittes so cute;)

  • Booty shake.

  • the only thing i find gross is that they eat the sack and what not. other then that, the act of bringing life into the world is a beautiful thing. also. so dogs/cats if never have had babys before are known to actaully try to eat the puppy/kitten. we had this problem with one of our dogs. we had to take the puppies away from her after she had them for a few hours. so she didnt eat them.

  • at least this cat is laying down lol, my older cat ran across my bed room when she was having her babys. we didnt even know she was pregnant. we found out when one of her kittens dropped out onto my foot.

  • That was cute

  • When your cat is giving birth, are you supposed to help at all? Like, help pull the kitten out or wipe it off so it can breathe sooner?

  • cats not in as much pain???? they didn't show the first kitten being born now did they? and cats purr when they are in a lot of pain too not just when they are happy just so you know

  • if they think this is disgusting show her eating the afterbirth (placenta) next time

  • aweeeeee calico!!!

  • @ 1:55 omg it looks like its in a plastic bag or something!!! .____.

  • aww those cats are soo cute! even the mommy :) poor cat! in pain i bet? im pretty sure shes thinking OMG JUST GET THE FLIP OUT OF THERE ALREADY!! but its the beauty of life :)

  • Beautiful!!

  • cat birth wasn't like that when my cat gave birth .__.

  • @MrPacman023 so how was it when your cat gave birth?

  • @kellogs552 It was Christmas eve. and she was and indoor outdoor cat so usually every morning she would be in front of my back door. But that day she wasn't so I went upstairs to a storage closet, where I had fixed up her bed when I open the door it was dark but I heard 1 kitten mewing and she was giving birth to the 2nd one. I was sooo Excited I grabbed towels and a flash light and She trusted me so much with them! I got to hold them. The birth went well, it was kinda gross but it was amazing:)

  • Awwwww

  • The cats all like " u get my good side"

  • Well, at least the cat isnt in as much pain as humans be in when giving birth lol

  • Comment removed

  • Heh, life. for people who think this is disgusting, its not, its just life and its process.

  • My cats just had 5 kittens, its amazing how calm they actually are and did you know they eat the pouch the baby breaks out of :S

  • Cats r much better mothers than dogs..

  • @MsBrendabella Cats are better mothers than dogs cause my dog almost ate my puppy

  • Beautiful

  • Awe their ADORABLE! <3

  • owwww ther so qute

  • ADORABLE. But kinda nasty.. but mostly adorable

  • looks like it hurts, but it's so cute to see those teeny little squirming kittens. :)

  • i wonder if it hurts as much for cats

  • ooh a female orange tabby! not very common!

  • Awww... it was cute how you cleaned it off with the towel, everyone needs a little help :)

  • my cat has given a bith right now

"LET ME OUTTA HERE. LET ME OUTTA HERE!"

    How cute! :3

  • so beautiful.

  • YUCK

  • oh here comes number 5 from my cat

  • I woke up hearing high pitched meow's and my mom was at work. So I went in to my mom's room and there were kittens everywhere dragging themselves around with huge sacks of blood attached to their cord... So I put them in a basket with their mom, but my cat only had 4 kittens. On the other hand, she could be having more...

  • Beautiful.

  • that looks like my cat Ronny!

  • OMG!!!!! the kitten that came out broke its sac.. tht was so gross and cool haha

  • I so happy the mommy found a forever home.

  • the baby cats are so quot

  • orange female cat - thats rare lol

  • My cat is barely a year old and she's due right around her birthday this September. I hope that all goes well. I plan to record when she gives birth as well. Awesome video and the kittens are adorable.

  • it look nasty but it was cute how the mama was cleaning her babies

  • XD Graphic? I think all births are graphic!

  • WHAT BREED IS THE DADDY!?

  • How sweet were u crying when the cat was giving berth?I would've cried....:/

  • considering how i am never gonna give birth nice to know i don't want to and see how it is done.

  • Oh gosh. :( my cat's pregnant and she's about to give birth any day now. I'm going to cry. :(

  • Aww... poor mommy! fyi you should leave your cat alone while shes giving birth, we have tons of cats and we don't sit there with a camera watching them, she could be in labor longer, just so you know! how the kitties now btw?

  • 2:21 welcome to the world ;)

  • i find it amazing that when the kitten comes out it looks ugly and hairless then 5 seconds later its fluffy O.o WTF? i wanna be a cat breeder when i grow up can you give me any tips? what do the cats need after birth? how do i make a safe and comfortable environment to have their kittens at?

  • graphic yet beautiful :)

  • Not saying you SHOULDNT spay and neuter your cats....just saying I DONT worry about a cat like I would a dog....Their plight isnt as urgent as the dog situation is in MY opinion...

  • If we DIDNT have an abundance of cats the rodent population would skyrocket. Look at ANY inner city and you will see that they have rodent problems because they dont have free roaming cats to catch and kill them. I think people who think a cat NEEDS people to survive are the ones who are wrong. Cats are very self sufficent and not in need of our help to survive. They have PLENTY to eat. Its like ANY animal in the wild...the strong survive and the weak die off...its the NATURAL cycle of things.

  • @Brenda0312F Great points. I love it when people can make a point, back it up with reason, and not insult anybody. I don't agree with you, but you got me to listen. I just think that a bunch of free-roaming cats in a city would be just as bad as a bunch of free-roaming rodents. But their droppings are larger. :)

  • @piecolorado ...Well thanks piecolorado. I havent had a nicer comment to disagree with me :) haha

Just wanted to say that cats bury their droppings. And rats can dig into your house. I dont think a wild cat would bother. So...either way I woud rather have free roaming cats. lol Thanks for commenting back.

  • @piecolorado how old is the mother cat?

  • @piecolorado Yes but cats aren't carrying poison which rats are.

  • @piecolorado I'd rather have cats roaming around then rodents. The environment would be more pleasant. Example: How many people do you know who have taken in a stray cat? Now compare that to how many people have taken in a stray rodent. People won't set deadly traps to kill a cat. There is no such market for "cat poison", but rat poison is a regular household supply. Larger droppings? Yes. Larger problem? No.

  • @Brenda0312F yup you are right. best proof is in the 1800's in france, there was a plague and the french though it was the cats spreading it so they got rid of all cats..suddenly the roddent infestation was over whelming and they found out it was the rodents spreading the plague. cats are just as useful and needed as any other animal :)

  • @Brenda0312F I absolutely agree with you, i am fro, Sicily, and there we have free roaming feral cats, they can live very well also because the weather is great over there.Plus there is always somebody feeding them. The red tom cat living near my house is nearly 17, off course not neutered, he does he job killing rodents, he fathered many kittens during the years. Feral cats are indipendent, leave them alone, they dont need you to rescue them, they dont need you to desex them.

  • @Brenda0312F The benefits of that may vary. Cats can also be destructive when they are invasive animals introduced via international trade or shipping to habitats which previously have no major predators; when entire habitats are unprepared to adjust, the cats will not only diminish the population of rodents, but also birds and various small mammals. It's hardly apt to suggest diminished bio-diversity due to invasive species is "natural".

  • aaah why is she still licking the kits she has when one is still in the sac thing!?

  • Woooow cool

  • Birth is a beautiful thing.

  • Amazing how she can give birth and feed her other kittens at the same time. whats that sack called? the one the kitten is in :S

  • @CryingForGaza The sack is called the caul, or membrane -- much like our "waters."

  • my cat is doing thsi right now

  • I took in a stray. I have never been an animal lover, but Sophi (the cat's name) just was so special to me and seemed like she needed me. Well, sure enough she needed me...she's pregnant it turns out. She came to me at the end of May, so she is getting close to due date. Watching this video helped! Thanks for sharing. What would have happened to the last kitten had you not been there?

  • push fluffy PUSH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @lizzardmvp you got that from shake it up

  • @starsora1 I know

  • ive just seen the merical of life and its disgusting!

  • That cat needs no help...like it does it all by itself....

  • Quit hating on nature and watch the beauty of birth! Sheez People! This is a miracle and you are talking,"NOO! FIX IT! TOO MANY CATS!!". That is wrong. I understand that there are a lot of cats, but still. This mother cat is going through a lot to care for her children. That is like watching human birth and yelling,"NOO! FIX HER! TOO MANY PEOPLE!!".

  • This is such a beautiful thing to see.a.mother bring a new life into the world :)

  • Wow...it is very rare to have a female orange and white cat....

  • Look in her eyes... so full of expression...She looks happy, she looks fulfilled.

  • to who posted this video its a good one. some people that are making comments on here are not making any sense what so ever and some comments have been extremlly offensive to many people. i've reported that person and do not care if they see this comment

  • k some videos on here that ive seen of cat birth the kittins tun out ugly but thes re soo cuit i cant wait till my cat has her babbys they gonna b hella cuit

  • @qwamelashayficklin

Nooo fix it! There's enough of them out there! Just adopt!

  • Gross, but beutiful. A new [CUTE!!!] life being brought into this world! You are lucky.

  • Reminds me of when my kitty was born. Mama looks like mine! Hope they all got good homes!

  • I really appreciate you putting this video up. My cat is currently pregnant and I'm scared because I don't know if I need to help her, or what I can do to make her more comfortable. On the subject of fixing, I plan to do it after this litter, but I wanted her to be able to have that mother expierience :] Plus, I plan to keep the kittens since I have the income to do so :] This was an adorable video!

  • happy birthday kittens!

  • She's creating life, with Arms Wide Open, under the sunlight.

  • Euw

  • @sinnesmannen then don't watch.

  • Good mama. Our mama cat was loud as hell when giving birth to her first litter. Wasn't so bad the second time.

  • i dont know how i got here but awwee

  • aww i love how she's looking after the others WHILE giving birth

  • eeeeewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww MY CATS GIVING BIRTH AS WE SPEAK!

  • Aww!! I cried when my cat gave birth for the first time it was so buetifull!! How many cats have you got? We have 8 cats but weve sold about 20+ kittens sadly but we cant keep them all even though how much I would love that! But now shes done now so no more cats in out house hold anymore

  • And I was eating PB&J sandwiches

  • however if we fix all of them there wont be any more cats

  • @TheGirlKiba If the cat population ever gets too low, we can talk about not fixing them. For now, there are way too many cats, with not enough homes for them all. There are also many breeders who will not fix their cats, so we don't have to worry about extinction.

  • @piecolorado Can say something? If there are only a few cats left and your start breeding again, it would be inbreeding A LOT of inbreeding, and I am pretty sure that can lead to premature death and sickness if the genes are too inbreed or bloodlines are all the same DNA.

  • @cookiemonster1990ily Actually, you're a little off. First, assuming that we did manage to fix enough cats in the world to cause domestic cats to become endangered, which is already an improbable task to begin with. Next, we want to revive the population, but we still have so many different types of cats from all around the world to breed, so inbreeding is not a problem. Inbreeding is a problem with cheetahs, for example, because there is virtually no genetic variation. Cats would be okay. =)

  • @happililgoth What if we end up with only five cats left in existence, then what. Like a nuclear bomb wipes them out. And boom, those last five happen to be fixed. I'm just spiritual in this, I believe its against god to mess with breeding.

  • @cookiemonster1990ily Okay, I respect your spiritual beliefs, but you should think about the suffering that stray, over-populated cats go through. Also, we have domestic cats because of breeding in the first place. If a nuclear bomb "wipes cats out", I think we have bigger problems to worry about. It is true that humans have disrupted the natural order of animal life in severe ways, but you should also get your facts right in general or your arguments will not be effective.

  • @piecolorado cats will not get extinct only because thanks god, not everybody in this world is a spay/neuter obsessed. If every single person of this world would think like you cats and dogs would get extinct.

  • @TheGirlKiba Yeah there are lots of cats that dont have homes where i live there are like wild cats roaming around everywhere and my indoor cat looks out the window at them and she talks ( meows ) to them ;D

  • They are such cute kittens!

  • My cat is currently doing this in my lap. :I

  • There's so many. Why do you let them have more???

  • @tristansmom982000 We were a foster family for this mother cat. We got her after she was pregnant. After this birth, mom and kittens were all fixed and then adopted by families who agreed to keep them indoors. Why do we let them have more? What's the alternative, we kill cats when we find them? I'm sorry we won't be killing any cats. I hope you don't either. The population can be controlled by fixing them instead of killing them.

  • @piecolorado beautiful kittens, very nice of you to spay and nueter em before giving them away

  • @piecolorado you clearly read the context wrong. He just thought u were making them have babies...Clearly you overeacted

  • aww but ewww a the same time!!

  • oh I'm so glad YOU are helping the mom in this video! I thought the mom wouldn't care for number 4...was so happy when you broke the sac so he/she could BREATHE!! phew!

  • @phedorah123

For humans. To animals it's no big deal. I don't see that cat screaming in pain. Besides, animals can give birth in the wild all by themselves without any assistance.

It's not even an emotional trauma for animals, and if they have a few stillborn babies it's no problem for them, they can get pregnant fairly rapidly after that.

  • amazing! im taking in my first pregnant foster..im excited and scared!

  • OMG baby number 4 is a calico cat like my cat fiona. my cat april gave birth to her but i'm glad we spayed her. it's a lot of work to take care of those kittens but i kept fiona :)

  • aweeee so cute..all of them fighting over there mama! :) lol..so cute!

  • Poor cat he's all trying to get out xD

  • why is the babt in a sack??????? like a clear sack????

  • @xnerfawesomenessx that's how they're born...

  • @jsantis91 oh lol
