First of all, it would be totally unfair to expect scientists not to have any fun with their jobs. That's part of being a scientist. The funding for something like this is minimal. Besides, who's to say what's learned here couldn't in some way be applicable in the future?

Let the scientists have a little fun! We need more of them as it is.

lol its not scary... all they r doing is studying the flying and doging patterns of a fly and then transmitting that data to the "robot" what blows my mind is how they are obtaining the data lmao, they grabbed a random fly then study every microsecond of its movement.... now thats scary....
