What a great episode. I don't get why so many diss Season 3. Chaos, Dark Awakening, Web World, Dweller in the Depths, Ultimate Weapon, Grimlock's New Brain, Call of the Primitives and the entire FFOD series were all outstanding and some of the best of G1.

With all the shots fired between these characters over the series, it's hard for me to believe that one shot killed Star Scream. And let's not forget that Galvatron earlier said that Trypticon neutralized all their weapons.

That said, this was material that could have made a sequel to the 1st movie. Too bad they didn't.

Good lord, Starscream was utterly monstrous in this episode. He was willing to let Unicron take Cybertron for his new body, which would likely kill all the Cybertronians on the planet and allow Unicron to keep eating planets and wipe out entire species, ALL so he could get his damn body back?!

Divebomb is clearly shown being blown apart into bits along with a Sweep when fighting Trypticon, but he's fine in the next scene. Hot Spot's blue is miscoloured white several times. Unicron's horns and face differ in detail and size during the second half of the episode. Galvatron claims that he is unable to shoot Scourge because Trypticon disabled his weaponry, but when Starscream's flies past him, his cannon works fine.

Maybe that's why he didn't last near as long as he should have because he didn't have a "cool sounding" name like Optimus Prime, or Ultra Magnus. You might as well call him "Hot Rod" instead; "Rodimus" just seems tacked on. At least they got it right when Megatron was renamed Galvatron.

the autobots are a little slow on the uptake, it seems. Even when they knew screamer's ghost was floating around they couldn't figure out why the decepticons were attcking one another. And they just leave unicron's head floatig around in space. Thats just a bad idea. :)
