the funny thing about arab democratic elections is that you have a choice between military rule, religious rule, and a democratic party. choose the wrong one(s), and this will be your last real elections for the next few decades.
democracy is not a matter of elections, it is a civilization. when egyptians can choose their every living moment, i'll believe egypt is a democracy.

@wildlettuce Egyptian military has always been on the people's side in all of its history since the British invasion of Egypt and it has heroically fought them.We don't care if it loses or wins as long as it has fought for a noble goal.It has only supported Nasser and Sadat because Egyptians did.Lol if we where abducting civilians there will be no Israeli to be seen in sharm.He was sitting up between the people and army.And the drug dealers are better in Egyptian prisons than Israeli ones:)

@OSARIOUS i didnt judge his impact on egypt, i simply said he was a dictator much like gaddafi and saddam hussein... nationalism is good up to the point where its used to oppress minorities (copts) and as a reason for police-state mentality.
as for israel - people all over the world are fed by arab propaganda which tells them 'palestine' has always been arab, and that 'palestinian' is a nationality with a long history. its like saying egypt has always been arab/muslim - utter nonsense.
