I was at the gig & there seemed to be a problem with the sound system, but even though something wasn't working it still sounded fantastic. The Scotland flag in the vid - that was me... 2 days on a train from Glasgow & no sleep but was the biggest & best gig ever & behind me was the proverbial sea of faces.
I remember on the radio broadcast there was a discussion by Jim Ladd while all of this was going on. They said the problem was a microphone not being plugged in. I dont know for sure.
They did an entire run through the night before without an audience. I think that us where they got the footage for the video.
I was there and they had sound issues for couple of songs. Roger and a couple of other vocalist redid their parts after the show that same night after the audience was gone.
@KillahGreenBud there was a lot of mistakes during the performance, and this is one of them. Its great that we can watch this because it is not in any official video. if you want more info you can check the extra documental in the newest version of the official video. Cheers from mexico :)

I was at the concert 20 years ago and this is not a deleted entrance.
The Scorpions opened the show with "In The Flesh".
Then they had a power outage for a portion of the stage during "The Thin Ice" and they had no vocals because of that
This is why Roger is walking around helplessly and not singing, because he was supposed to come in with "If you should go skating.....".
Once it got fixed they continued with the next song in the show.
We didn't get hear this song during the live performance.

This is not wrong don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
Wrong is making people buy the same album over and over.

Yes. I remember. There was no sound during The thin ice. The show was awesome, but not perfect.

I love how the camera went directly to Peter and Nick (the keyboardists) just as they realised that something was seriously wrong and gave up.
