In any death it's sad. Three people are gone because of poor judgement. Happy for the two that lived, but not the hell they will live each day. I pray for the ones that are gone and for their love ones. Also for the people that were there and witnessed their death. @losteroni If someone needs to be posted there at the fence to tell an adult not to climb the fence and pose in the water. Then we should have people at the zoo by the Lion's den, because I would sure love a close up on the other side of the fence with the lion. The story is sad, but common sense should kick in at some point.

my heart goes out to the family of those who died on the 19th. I was there on July 30th, just 11 days later. the water was still strong. but not this strong. there is no way in hell that I'd have gone over the railing with the water as strong as it was on the day of your video. that is Most Definately Not Safe to try to stand in. It's no wonder they were Unfortunately swept over the Falls. I feel bad for them. But they should've not climbed over the railing. i feel bad for the family too. :(

My heart goes out to the victims & thier familes. Very young victims. Given thier ages they were probably not as experienced hikers as Father Genard Lazar who was with the youth group that sad day. I'm surprised they didn't take a park/tour guide with them for the hike to Vernal fall's risky waters, instead a pastor. Lawsuit should go against Assyrian church of the East Youth Ministry a close-knit community of Assyrian Christians with roots in the Middle East who planned the & set up the hike.

Our churchs are to be protected not attacked at a time like this. Many people go to this very location without tour guides. There are numerous signs warning people not to climb over the railing. Although I feel sorry these people died, their families are getting ready to sue for something that was their own fault. The falls did not kill these people - lack of common sense did.

If the families sue I feel it will be difficult to prove the fault was anyone elses but their own.
