Thank you dear, when I was little, my family was not too well off, so we didnt have a tv etc, and so to entertain ourselves, my dad and mom used to get out their guitars and we used to trya nd sing every song we knew and us kids had to come up with different parts. Never grew out of the habit - now I make up harmonies to every song I hear. Not a lot of people appreciate that though, and I am somewhat banned from singing along to songs now!!! I sneaked this one in though!
I like singing, I used to do it all the time....but my husband doesnt like me singin at the top of my lungs around the house, so I dont do it anymore as much.....I miss it though!
I was really struggling with my Japanese, but having sung along with your rendition - and then finding the translation - I was able to figure out some structures. I even noticed the same stucture on one of the train adverts today. I think you've made me realize the power of song in helping me speak Japanese. I hope you know some more Japanese songs.
Hi there - for some reason I hadnt seen this until now 9 months later - thank you. When I lived in Japan, I used to hit those Karaoke boxes like a fanatic on a mission. Ken Hirai, helped me learn some basic structures too - I know he's cheesy but they were the right pace and stuff for me to get a handle on it. You know "Even If"???? I learned how to flirt with that one!!
that was awesome and charming. A great example of what is so lovely about youtube... sending harmony to someone... love it. You didn't need to explain or appologize, really.
Yay! Sorry I wasn't around to accept/comment on it right away! I love love love your voice and that's TOTALLY the PERFECT harmonic arrangement--how can you say you're not a singer?!? It's 8:30am on a gray gray day, so thanks for the spot of sunshine this morning^_^

I believe this is one of beautiful sessions on Youtube. I really enjoyed it. "The spot of sunshine in the morning with a gray sky." I think so, too.
