Hmm. These are some possible explanations.......

1. They evolved early, and thus were able to claim planets before everyone else.

2. As you've seen, their ships are powerful compared to everyone else, so i guess they had dominance over everyone till the player arrived.

i tried to ally with the grox and it was...easy i have 79 relationship with them, i'm allied with them (and its sweet btw lol :P) and it was actually easy. it took me like 10 minutes to ally with them. am i the only one who thought it was easy or are there others?
