  • Hi Tom, thanks for nice tutorial . --- Sent From polcan99's AppRats (Facebook App)!

  • Great tutorial, as always. Thanks!

  • If shooting in direct sunlight, use a DIFFUSION! 5 in 1 reflectors usually have the diffusion material as the base and the silver gold etc are changeable over the diffusion base. and if you can shoot in the shades. :)

  • Excellent tutorial! Thanks again for sharing your knowledge and expertise.

  • Thanks, Tom. Basic info but you have really shown that its all about technique and not the camera. Thanks!

  • I love the Nikon D80 and Sigma lens is 3.1. Even beginners can easily chwalyounghalsu.

  • Hey Tom, Looks like you're holding the U-Flycam in your preview for the next tutorial. Is that the U-Flycam?

  • @R3APER24 I believe so... it wasn't mine, and I only used it that one time... wasn't very happy with it... kept on tilting side to side.

  • @R3APER24 I believe so, but it wasn't mine, and I only used it that one time... wasn't very happy with it... kept on tilting side to side.

  • Hi Tom , this is really so nice for me as a beginner

  • insulation with the one shiny side is also good, and everyone has some extra in their garage

  • Does anyone make a stand for the reflectors? Something like maybe a tripod with clips or something?

  • @MegaheroEntertainmen There are, but in order for them to work you'll need to put a lot of sandbags to weight it down or the wind will flip it over... so it's kinda pointless if you're with a small crew cuz sendbags are not something you'll want to carry around

  • @MegaheroEntertainmen

There are stands called cutter stand or cookie stands. You can try them...

  • You could do a whole tutorial just on folding those things. First one I ever bought, I just left it unfolded after the first time.

  • omfg yes!!!!!! i was looking for this!! i love you! i'm doing a lot of people's senior pictures and this is exactly what i needed

  • Could you just use foil glued to a piece of cardboard, if you were cheap?

  • Tom - I am using one of those car dashboard reflectors - $12.00 from a cart part store. Thanks for the tips!

  • @SoundGarageTales Thnx for the tip! Another great idea to help save some $... post your other ideas you guys have up here so everyone can benefit!

  • Piece of styrofoam is also great. BTW How about some nightshot tutorial (how to do that looking natural)? Greetings from Poland Tomek.

  • @darnoc666 Yup... the next tutorial will be about filming outside at night... there is a short preview of it at the end of this video.

  • @TomAntosFilms Great news, i just didint watch till finish :)

  • @TomAntosFilms Great I'll be looking forward to that video. That will be HELPFUL. THANKS Tom keep up the great work.

  • @TomAntosFilms Another great tutorial. I want to know toward the end of the video I seen a strobe. Is that because of the CMOS sensor reaction to the instant change in illumination triggered by the reflector ?

  • keep up the great work.

  • you are the best!

  • Nice --- Sent From polcan99's AppRats (Facebook App)!

  • It was really helpful, thank you very much.

  • If you don't have a reflector, anything that is white will help. paper, cardboard, white foamboard, etc and if you are not stuck to the your position, a white wall, or a white van for exapmle can also help.

  • What rig/handle were you using at the end got the music video? And great tutorial always perfect.

  • Great Video! What light are you holding at 10:06?

  • i usually just use tin foil wrapped around cardboard and it seems to work great

  • @GGGiL00 Yup that also works great... just that actual reflectors are easier to fold, transport, and are more durable. But if you're trying to save a buck then tin foil and cardboard also works great!

  • @GGGiL00 thanks for the tip

  • For the Reflectors.. I'll Just leave it on the floor.. and go play some Video Games lol

  • I'm anticipating the outdoor light tutorial :) Keep up the good work Tom!

  • Very Usefull!! Great! Thanks --- Sent From polcan99's AppRats (Facebook App)!

  • You need a whole tutorial on how to fold reflectors. LOL

  • @oneeyedgeek lol... yeah seems like lots of people have problems with that :)

  • @TomAntosFilms check the freddiew2 channel it's a greenscreen but same manner of folding, just check for "How to Professionally Fold a Greenscreen"
