  • my God 1:41 best Hitler lookalike walk i have ever seen the actor must have done his homework on the role.

  • @charlieiscool1000 Wow this guy may have put Bruno to shame in Downfall in this scene, you are right. Best Hitler actor I have ever seen.

  • I don't think Hitler was a pedophile. He was just your typical dictator that liked to hang out with little kids and german sheperds.

  • Where is the scene where Hitler breaks out into his little jig?

  • @mccarrpo

The Jig never really happened. It was a manipulation by english editor Len Lye.

  • Hitler looks far too short in this film and sounded nothing like that lol

  • @charlieiscool1000 The voice was wrong but the height was acurate. Adolf Hitler Weighed in at 170 lbs and was 5 foot 9inches

  • The Translator looks like Roosevelt !! ;)

  • Hamsun did align himself with the Nazis. He liked Germany because his books sold well there. Two other famous writers also went along with Naziism--Louis Celine and Ezra Pound.

  • Thanks for upload, how is this movie called? And did this visit really happen? Wasn't Hamsun seen as a traitor later on?

  • The movie is called "Hamsun". And yes, it did happen.

Read about Knut Hamsun on Wikipedia.

  • @sternberg1 this happened !!! only problem it shows regular army solders in a line when hitler walks out!! in reality that would of been hitlers private body guard SS black uniforms!!

  • @sternberg1

Hamsun was tried as a Nazi collaborator in Norway but he was deemed unfit mentally to stand trial for political reasons. His final book proved his supreme mental fitness to the embarrassment of many. His wife was convicted and spent time in prison. With the benefit of hindsight, obviously Hamsun choose the better side of the conflict. Luckily for him, he never bore the burden of Europe's final defeat against everything good and beautiful. We must endure that fate instead.

  • LSSAH wore black uniforms. Stupid Norwegians dont know how they look.

  • WRONG!! Know the background before you comment.

This movie are made by Swedes and Germans!

Its a Swedish movie, hahaha ;)

  • @Ialocin85 depends on when he visited the Berghof. If it was after 1940, then they stopped using the black uniform altogether.

  • @Maxobillion

Even Hitler's personel lifeguards from the LSSAH? At the berghof and in Berlin they wore these uniforms.

But in the movie 'Der Untergang' they do indeed wear gray field uniforms. But on the other hand, Hitler was in the field at and Berlin was the frontline at this point.

You might be right, im not sure.

but the Allgemeine-SS LSSAH lifeguards used non combat uniforms (black) as far as i know

  • @Ialocin85 I have the three book set on SS uniforms by Michael Beaver who is seen as one of the ultimate authorities on the subject. The black uniform was being phased out at the beginning of 1939. Only its strict ceremonial use was authorized until 1940 or 41 when Himmler issued the orders than the use of that uniform was to resume at the end of the war. From that point on no one was seen wearing it. If fact, because of war shortages, many of them were recycled for the fabric.

  • @Maxobillion

I have seen clips from 42 and 43 where the black uniforms are worn by some of hitlers closest, including bodyguards.

also, foreign SS units like the GSSN used the black uniforms untill 45.

please dont waste more of my time

    takk!

  • @Ialocin85 "The black uniform was increasingly seldom seen, eventually being worn only by part-time Allgemeine-SS reservists. The last ceremonial event at which the black uniforms were worn en masse was the Berlin victory parade following the fall of France in June 1940. In 1942 Himmler ordered most all of the black uniforms recalled and stripped of insignia." - Lumsden, Robin. A Collector's Guide To: The Allgemeine - SS, 2001, p 56

    Read more jackass.

  • @Maxobillion

my grandfather served in the waffen-ss and wore a black "off front duty" uniform.

    fuck off trailertrash

  • @Maxobillion

At special events at the berghof, berlin, u name it, the body guard used the black uniforms.

But dayli, they used the once u refer to.

Quislings adutant confirms the use of black uniforms after 42.

Quislings elite ss guard also wore the black uniforms.

Hamsun was a nobel price winner and that would have been a special event. they wore the black uniforms most likely.

  • @Ialocin85 "most likely" ? I just gave you factual information regarding Himmler's orders on discontinuing the black dienstrock and your response is a hypothetical fantasy. Good for you. Clearly you did not attend university where one learns to back up arguments with factual sources.

  • @Maxobillion

members of SS tank crews can be seen on photos dataed 1944 and 45, wearing black ss uniforms. so your proven wrong.

    end of story!

  • @Ialocin85 You are referring to the Panzer wrap which is double breasted. It was used by both the Wehrmacht and the waffen SS. The panzer wrap did not use arm bands either. It's a completely different uniform.
