The Xr150 has 3 Lux which is best for filming at night. A little light toward the camcorder will brighten the whole sky. The city looks awesome.

Thank you for this video filmed during the night I really wanted to see what's the quality of the videos filmed in low light conditions and there are not much of those on YT.

Btw what do you think which one is better model this one or HDR-XR520 or HDR-XR550?

HDR-XR150 has less HDD space and captures stills in 3.1 MP quality but has 25x optical zoom while other two models have more HDD space but much less optical zoom and capture still images in 12 MP quality.

What do you think which one is better to buy are there any significant differences in...

I purchased this camcorder a month back and like it a lot. I shot a lot of HD videos of a wedding. But now I'm having trouble importing the HD videos from the camcorder to my computer. Sony's PMB (Picture Motion Browser) software was included with the camcorder but I'm having a lot of problems trying to install it on my fairly new computer.

Can you advise me on another software I can use in order to get my HD videos from my camcorder onto my computer? Thanks so much!

@RepetitionKills The other day I was filming outside and when I played it on my TV I could hear this static-like noise that turned out to be my air-conditioner. Do you hear this noise all the time or just in this video??

@EXMORr for me, when i plug in the camera and the tv it makes this weird alien sound, then when i say something the noise stops. only happens when its connected to the tv. do you know what the problem is?

when you switch the camera to playback you will not Hear that!!

You can switch the camera to playback before you hook it to your TV

or turn the TV sound down then hook the camera to your TV!!

I did not Change the audio settings!!

You may be having some type of electrical interference or you may just be picking up an actual noise that you can not normally hear. When I filmed that Driving Video I can hear a noise that is my defroster that took me a day to figure out!!
