i had an 02 injection r1 then went to an 04 (not factory) rsv and at first was a bit dissapointed with the performance just having the edge on my mates 08 r6, but after a few weeks its such a nice bike and the build quality is far better than any jap bike, the brakes and suspention are out of this world, and to be fair, if your not an expert (like me) its a far better and easier bike to ride and much safer! just watch the brakes in the wet!!!!!!

....... they aren't heavy at all. The gas tank is made of a composite, rather than metal even!

They will easily wheelie, very very easily.

what an awesome bike, i have a 2000r and i love it. You have to ride em to appreciate them. Yeah, the r1 gsxr zx10r and blade etc may all be faster on top end, but i like to stand out from the crowd...and they dont have ohlins, oz and brembo goodies as standard :)
