  • whippet?

  • Hi Ozorg,

Great video and music. I have the same question as Rakemaan. In the video you switch from normal to slow motion. You mentioned you edit in imovie. Does it have a special feature to speed up parts to 'normal' speed? Or did you just adjust it till it looked right? :)

    Cheers!

  • what a beautiful dog

  • How did you switch from normal speed to 300fps during the video? Did you flick the switch from "STD" to "HS" or was it all in "HS" and edited afterwards?

  • bambii lol

  • This was beautiful to watch.

  • Beautiful dog, I love this!!

  • nice dog.

  • Viva los Galgos, muy buen video.:-D

  • anyone know what the song to this is?

  • sorry - no real song. just me nudling on my guitar ... ;-)

  • wow its really good i thought it was a proper released song. I love the bass to it really slick piece of music

  • great video it was very well put together :)

  • Awesome vid :)

Btw how's the quality when shooting 300, 600 or 1200 fps? I'm pretty intrested about buying this camera someday.

  • From what I can tell, 300 fps has a lower quality, but faster play time. 600 fps is average, and 1200 has the highest quality, slowest play time.

  • what you mean by quality

1200 is the fastest, you can see more detail, but it has the smallest resolution

300 fps is ok for human stuff, since they move relitlvly slowly, and its the biggest resolution

so if you want it look amazing, and you plain and aim well

say you put it off to the side if what yoru shooting, aimed well

    like at the gun range

    use 1200

  • This is 300 FPS. I can tell

  • You need a really good bright day to shoot 600 and 1200 and resolution is small but it's not bad. 300 is better resolution and doesn't need that much light.

  • Dude - you couldn't afford it.

  • What sort of software did you use to compile these clips into a video? Absolutely none of 5 or so video editors (including Adobe Premier!) I tried would actually open the stupid H.264 codec. Yet most video players PLAY the video flawlessly...

  • - @ Corvid -

I haven't checked since May of 2008, but as of then - Avid and Pinnacle Studio worked great with the H.264 codec. I wanted Premier, but at the time they didn't support it.

  • Haha I like the part where one of the dogs is shaking off all the water. XD

  • your dog is one of the nicest dogs ive ever seen it seem so loyal and honest like it would protect its owner and thats made me want one of them because i was going to get a dog thanx for making my choice easier

  • so when you shoot at 300fps and come back and play it, it automatically plays in slow motion or is that an added effect? cause my camera shoots at 60fps and when i play it its really fast, but i can slow it down using effects.

  • hi - the casio ex-f1 can make real 300fps. so the video is not slowed down.

  • The jumps were cool. Suggest you try to get in way tighter on the action next time and shorten it. I also appreciate that you added a soundtrack -- I know the camera doesn't record audio in slo-mo.

  • thx for your comment!

this was the second time i used the cam and the first time i used imovie. so i was very happy that at least something ended on youtube ;-)

    cheers!

  • @ozorg one more tip. get as low as you can to get the perspective of the water splashing up ;) I realllllly want this camera!
