I tried making beer once--but it was from a book. It didn't turn out so good. I like the idea of leanring from videos--looks like it would be much easier to learn how to do it right.

@tnsinclair2 Definitely not! Most of my videos show me brewing in my tiny 2 bedroom condo in Chicago, on the 20th floor of a highrise in a small kitchen! Doesn't take much room at all!

@pcicotta1 Nope, you can get all the equipment and ingredients for your first batch for under $150, then most batches after that will cost you $20-$40 for ingredients.

The actual brewing takes 2-4 hours typically, then the beer needs to ferment for at least 6 days depending on the style. Then bottling takes 2-3 hours, then the beer needs to carbonate for at least a week.

Glad to have you aboard! When I first started I was so lost with figuring out how to brew from books and the videos on youtube were all pretty poor quality. Years later, I'm glad people see the value in my site and the hard work I've put into the 200+ videos.
