We take a staple gun and staple yellow Caution Do Not Enter tape on small wooden stakes to use to delineate the walkway. On top of this we staple orange mini lights to light the pathway. We have a lighted arch over a small bridge and usually make a funky sign reading Cross Over Haunted Bridge! Obviously, we clear the yard of anything the kids can trip over and hurt themselves on (lawsuit).
