What a magnificent song!. Rafi saab the immortal singing for Raj Kapoor instead of Mukesh who was the voice of Raj saab. Rafi was so unique he alone could have done justice to this unforgettable melody. The way in which he has sung this song=Oh! no human being, no singer worth his salt would come anywhere near Rafi saab. Tears roll down my eyes when I hear this song and I would hear this for hours and even then my appetite for this song would not cease!. Rafi saab amar rahe

I heard from someone that Raj Kapoor sahab liked Rafi sahab's voice so much that inspite of mukesh ji being his voice on the screen he always wanted one song of Rafi sahab in his Film. This 'Heer' could be another example.
