Lulz. I think Halo being based in the future is just an excuse to be unrealistic. You have at least a hundred pounds of armor and you're jumping 15 feet into the air. You're using rifles that still resemble rifles of the twenty-first century. The best melee they have is hitting them with the butt of the gun. You can take 40 shots to the chest but somehow a gunbutt to the back kills you. Can anyone explain to me how Halo is popular?

@CustomWeapons A melee hit to the back kills you instantly in Halo because you break the person's spinal cord...and the armor weighs easily a half-ton, not a hundred pounds. SPARTAN supersoldiers are just that. Supersoldiers. They have very heavy battle augmentation. Anybody who isn't a SPARTAN could not even put on the MJOLNIR armor without causing serious injury to themselves.
