no i'm not using no pedal just pure string sound ( bass direct linked to amp) and whit other songs its ok just whit this one i think its becouse the way it is played i'm going to pratice a bit more and then i tell you something XD

i have a kestion i'm tring to play this song but its being a bit hard i know the notes but i think i'm playing ir rong becouse i'm not geting any sound of the notes they sound kind of dead:S i already have mi amp at max but still no good notes but on other musics i have good notes:S need a bit help XD

@ferrao123 are you using a distortion pedal to get the driving sound of the notes??

if it sounds dead you may need to change your tone setup or go for new strings

the other bit is a guitar solo, not played on bass

@davethebass1989. I'm not sure if you're half right. Lots of bassists on youtube play the entire guitar solo, but I now think only the first section is played with bass & lead guitar.

@camionerodebasura well when i watched em live at sheffield chris was playing the same part verse... if you listen closely you can hear the bass on the track playing the same part he does in the verse/chorus bit

its what you prefer to play really

It may be easier to change from 10 on the E to 10 on the A Instead Of 5 on A to 10 on A, Just a little suggestion now ive learnt it a bit

yeah, its what is most comfortable for you to play, i find keeping it on the a and g strings easier for the rhythm. buts its how you prefer to play it if its easier and more comfortable

nooooo i lift my pinky so the distorted sounds doesnt overload and sound too fuzzy, it helps to make to sound more definded and clearer

good cover dude. just a tip you should pull off on that A,and not let it ring out. especially with a muff effect, it gets too distorted the louder it gets. good job though dude.

thanks, well i prefer to keep the a string ringing, i just think it sounds better and carries the song more, the g string sounds terrible if held down however so i pull of the g string (no pun intended haha)
