@Istandil there is more than one person in each of the clips, so no one can tell which one "elim garak" is, but the collection of clips shows that none of the people are real

@MeIsArtTickYouLet : I don't know what to say...do you know Deep Space Nine? If not (and it seems to be highly probability) there is no suprise that this may say nothing to you. But it's quite clear who is Elim Garak there (he is in every scene, no matter who with :)). And it's a serial (Star Trek: DS9) so people are not real. If you listen words of the song, you can see a conection between words and scenes. That's what fan music video is about.

In 0:18 are two scenes - first one is from 3x20 Improbable Cause, second one from 5x14 In Purgatory's Shadow (both two-part episodes, both absolutely amazing ;-)). 1:36 from 4x01/02 The Way of the Warrior. :)

0:30-0:32 - Scene with the finger - it's from 5x14 In Purgatory's Shadow (it's first of two-part episode, I strongly recommend this...but others too ;-)). 0: 34 - it's from 2x05 Cardassians and 0:51 - 6x02 Rocks and Shoals.

I haven't watched seasons 5-7 since they aired (some of them separately thanks to Spike TV) so I don't remember a lot of details about them other then they turn Ziyal sort of fluffy and sycophantic (Am I wrong?) She was so strong and lovely. The elevator scene in For the Cause is one of my favorites. And yea, waaay to much Dax/Worf. Blarg.

I agree. For me one of the saddest scenes ever in any show was when Dax was getting ready to get married. They had just come back to the station (someone had died) and Garak was tailoring her wedding dress. He was totally calm and business as usual about it and that made it even tougher as a scene for me.

Garak was perhaps the most lethal guy, or at least the most lethal "good guy" on the show. Other people may have been better warriors, (Sisko, Worf, Dukat) but Garak was sneaky and could unleash nasty whenever he felt he had to to survive.

Another aspect was that except Bashir he lost almost every single person he cared about but hung in to the end. I think that was part of why he was the way he was, he was almost Jack Bauer before there was Jack Bauer.

Making of well, ok, shortly :). Firstly I chose the mood of video and song (energic, happy, expressing my mood). I chose fitting scenes to text and tried to remember interesting scenes with something special to use it to music without words (bows, strikes..). I organised it writing on a paper before start making video in PC. Then I paid big attention to timing. I kept control how it look like. Is that what you want me to wrote?
