you know the difference because Gloria is in them, and the small part where carol is wearing the white tank top is from one of the first episodes of the second season, the one where she did a ride along with the paramedics Shep and Raul.

When this finished I was around nine and had never seen it before. Now Sky Atlantic has launched and is showing the whole series from the beginning to the end. I've only seen three episodes so far from the pilot but it's amazing. The best thing I've ever seen. I see why people loved it so much. Now I can enjoy one of the best TV shows in the world!

I think this is S2 or beyond, b/c Reuben definitely wasn't in the original cast. Also, the little guitar riff at :24 is new. I don't think it's been sped up; I'm not sure what instrument they're using, but that hi-pitched whine you hear thu-out, I always believed, was supposed to sound like the siren of an ambulance.

I've always loved this theme, esp the way it starts; it startles you, it's not gentle, b/c emergencies are not easy and gentle.
