When we have a visualization it helps to make something happen. When many people share a visualization, dream or vision it greatly increases the potential of the shared visualization occuring. Each Stand Up For Kids HandPrint inside the "Reaching Out: America" Child Abuse Monument is a visualization of our intent to protect children.
One million handprints? Sorry, I'm a natural skeptic and that kind of surface area just couldn't yield a million handprints...not even close. a 10x30x30 box would only fit around 4800 handprints (allowing for a 6"x6" space for each hand)...sorry to rain on the parade...
You'd have to cram 208 paper hands within each 6"x6" space that I mentioned. A more realistic number would be around 40,000 paper hands...depending on size and number of doors and windows and such as well...gees, I'm such a geek...
Oh wait! FILL the inside? Oh, I'm sure that would work...sorry, I was thinking it was something that could be WALKED through with the handprints on the walls...*stuffs feet in mouth*
This is awesome. Even if I'm too late, it's still awesome.

I thought they meant they would fill the inside with the papers. Could that be done?
