@bnbob01 Canning is not something Thai people do, Most don't keep any food in the house other than what there going to eat day or 2.

The soup looked great to me. I was surprised not to see any chili peppers in it though, maybe they were served as a side dish. All I could think of when you were harvesting the bamboo shouts was Rhino Horns.

@dalecalder2003 Not all Thai food is crazy spicy, But most is. Maybe you would like the soup but I would be very surprised if you could get pass the smell.
