  • Good evening. What are the radii for this layout? Is it still available?

  • Thanks for contacting us regarding our 22 x 7 video. The largest layout has been a 30 x 30 HO scale with a walk in peninsula. The entire system was DCC and had an era of 1930 to 1945 coal and logging. Signaling was Pennsylvania specific and built in automated block indication/detection systems.

Give us a call when you have a moment. The shop is open from 8 AM to 6 PM Eastern time. The office number is 859-394-4579 or you can reach me at awartman@aergroup.net.

    Talk to you soon!

    Andy

  • How big of a layout can you build? Can you put signals on it? Also, can you build towns like actual towns? I am a BIG L&N and CSX fan! I live in Lexington Kentucky

  • Good evening,

The bridges are actually made by Walthers. The staff connected five of them together and then built double concrete piers for support. We weathered them with chalks along with aging the concrete as well. The through pier was custom cut and casted as well.

    Thanks for the question!

  • Hello, what manufacturer made your Double Track Truss Bridges are those? Great layout btw!

  • where is it in covington

  • do you have tips for signals

  • @JasonsStories

    Good evening!

Depending on the type of signal and manufacturer signals are pretty easy in terms of installation. However, if you've never put some in this is obviously the wrong statment for sure. If you are using dwarfs in a yard and are also using tortoise switch machines, you can wire your signals (red/gree) for diverging or allignment along with the turnout control wiring. So essentially, your switch motor controls the signal. Give us a call if you have questions.
