Q: How much does the fact that Voldemort was conceived under a love potion have to do with his inability to understand love is it more symbolic?

I think I've watched 20 something minutes of the second one, but couldn't really stomach it. I hate watching the movie versions of books I've read, I just can't enjoy them and constantly ruins them for everyone else watching by pointing out all the things that are "wrong".
Instead, I've learned the first three books by heart and I'm good on my way of memorizing the others as well ;)

@aryllia It doesn't mean it has to end. But this movie is probably the last Harry Potter-related thing that will be made public or sth, or in which the actors have participated. It is kinda sad. I think seeing the book's scenes in the big screen is as good as reading them, but I have to agree with you, the movies haven't been really faithfull to the books. But what can we do. Until someone remasters them or sth we just have to accept them.

Kind of goes back to the old saying "Better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all" Even if Harry had lost everything and died he would have still betten Voldermort because he can love and has loved. Voldermort can't.
I refuse even now after his demise and the return of peace to the wizarding world to denounce Tom Riddle as the twisted villain so many see him as. But instead I pity the man who devoted his life to the acquisition of power that would never ultimately be his, who was feared by all but never knew love.
May he rest in peace, and be remembered in generations to come as a great wizard- for a great wizard he was, and how he chose to use his greatness is another matter entirely.

I refuse even now after his demise and the return of peace to the wizarding world to denounce Tom Riddle as the twisted villain so many see him as. But instead I pity the man who devoted his life to the acquisition of power that would never ultimately be his, who was feared by all but never knew love.
May he rest in peace, and be remembered in generations to come as a great wizard- for a great wizard he was, and how he chose to use his greatness is another matter entirely.

I love this song, it's so full of emotion and every time I hear it, I cry.
Speaking of losing things, I feel SO bad for George when Fred dies! I'm a twin myself, and my sister and I are very close. I'd imagine it'd feel like a part of you was ripped away forever... :(

This song is just epic. Sad but at the same time there's so much strength in it. I'd say the sadness and the overwhelmingness comes from the music and the lyrics put the strength in it... that's how it is for me :)

Not that i want to pressure J.K at all coz i no shes glad Harry can be put to rest and she doesnt want to write about his world anymore, i still think it'd be amazing if instead of writing a sequel she wrote a perquel of Voldermorts time at hogwqarts, i think the contrast would give us a real insight
